I guess one should not get bored with a routine task. As almost all jobs you get are routinely in nature. Most especially accounting jobs related. Tax comes top when it comes to routine.

My 2 kobo though.

Then what happened to "reimagine solution" in their core value when all you do is routine task. Where is that inventiveness in you?

My two cents too.

Guess you meant "reimagining the possible", that simply means being innovative. For tax and audit works, they do have guidelines...more like procedures to be followed. You could be creative or innovative in your work style, but there's little room for not following established procedures.

Last last my opinion na to sha dey consistent.
I guess if you'd picked following established procedures, you should also align with not getting bored with routine.

They said there are no right or wrong answer. You dey here select the right and the wrong answer.
I can prove to you all the options are related to PwC core value (whether it Tax, Audit or Advisory)
The consistency we dey talk self, it's not possible to be 100% consistent (Some blocks have all the 3 options reasonable that you just get confused). The best you can get to being consistent is 80%

Trust me, you're 100% right. virtually every options there are related to PWC core value. there were some questions that has three most that you've earlier chosen before. we just don't know what exactly they are looking for. we all are lost now until they get back to us. I really wish they can send our result and explain how it was marked.

One major issue of the test, is the recommended time of 25 minutes...... That is like 10 seconds per question

exactly the same point I was trying to clarify earlier, we are humans and it's normal to find routine task boring when you're not a machine or robot, and moreover all those attributes seem to be in line with their core values, i just believe they just want u to maintain some level of consistency while selecting your options not necessarily 100%, afterall it's all about what's

It's just my 2 cent tho. i stand corrected

Exactly... Creativity is part of their values and behavior. Challenging the status quo. Not doing the same thing the same way, but doing the same thing differently to produce a positive result

I am not here to scare anyone but the pwc recruitment process is a very rigorous one. The personality test is just a tip of the iceberg. I Did some research on their technical test and i must confess, you have to be up an running to scale through.
And to those running from numerical reasoning, I am afraid it will also come with their verbal and logical reasoning tests.

After all that, there is also assessment centre where some of the online test will be repeated.

Like i said, its a long walk to get it. But once the process begins, you get caught up in it.

Here is the link to get hold of what I am saying.

https://www.graduatesfirst.com/pwc-job-tests

Best of luck to all of us. Certainly we are all gonna need it.

The recruitment process for GTap slightly differs from that of GT. The difference is the verification test, where u write an ability test ( numerical and verbal reasoning) in the comfort of your home and after getting a success mail from them, you repeat that test at their office. Gtap recruitment process just has a technical test after ability test and when you scale through, then you reach the assessment centre level.
Personality test - Ability test - Technical test - Assessment centre. But I pray the process would be shorter this year.
The salary for GT and GTap is the same, the only difference is that GT gets confirmed after six months while GTap gets confirmation after one year. The latter is a temporal role, while the former is permanent

Can u pls explain y u said GTap is temporal after u already said it's the same as GT. Is GTap still temporal even after the one year confirmation?

I got to learnt that some persons did this GTAP last year. I will like to know (if and only if someone knows) the number of people that was CONFIRM OR WILL BE CONFIRM after the program in proportion to the number of people they took for the program.

What's their selection criteria for confirmation after that one year.

I, not only I, but those that are working as well, will greatly appreciate your respond. Looking forward in hearing from your contribution.

Thanks in anticipation. Cheers all

i get your point cos some are currently employed and might not want to take the risk of resigning from their current place for a temporary job

If you get confirmed after a year, it's no longer temporal but a permanent role and you get promoted to Associate level 2 role (same as GT) based on your performance for that one year

Your performance for one year determines promotion.

Sorry do you mean associate 2 is same as GT or GTAP and GT will move on to associate level after 1 year and 6 months respectively?? Thanks ( I currently have a job and I need to analyse this critically)

You're already at associate level 1 as a GT or GT apprentice. You move to level 2 after one year based on your performance
Re: Pwc Graduate Tax Apprenticeship Programme 2019 Thread by Nobody: 12:20pm On Jun 06, 2019
This is not correct! You aren't at A1 as a gt or gtap. By the way PWC career movement is from A3 to A1 and not the other way. So to the best of my knowledge gt move to A3 after training while gtap move to A2 after the probation period.
