radautoworks:Diagnosis in my part of Nigeria is a risky business. Most of them use Bluetooth scanners and from what I've read here, I don't think it will work well. Not experienced it again since yesterday and I'm still open to suggestions. Thanks |

Re: Mercedes Benz Thread by nurey(m): 8:04am On Jun 08, 2019 |
DreCharles: iberekodo, camp, lafenwa, itaoshin exterior ends of abeokuta to ikoyi is less than 100km journey that's 2hours journey or 3hours journey with traffic. Ikoyi to rad is around 30 to 40kms and it's highway driving. just book appointment for a Saturday and leave early you can even reach Lagos in 1hr if you are a RuffRyder like me. though I have not seen a big car shop in abeokuta though 1 Like 1 Share |

nurey: His car isn't revving, though? |
Re: Mercedes Benz Thread by nurey(m): 8:17am On Jun 08, 2019 |
HeavenlyBang: His car works perfectly currently according to him. on the 3rd try the car function correctly. He also replied again that the car has not misbehaved since then. You seems to be close on the TPS thing since no revv instead of revv but no movement 1 Like |

nurey: Oh, I must have missed that. If he can drive, he should take it to Lagos, then. Na usually TPS dey mumu like that. |
Re: Mercedes Benz Thread by Nobody: 8:44am On Jun 08, 2019 |
Chelseafan1: Exactly what I've always preached. As long as you drive moderately, no CEL or exhaust leaks, factory rated MPG is achievable with our fuel. This was what I got during a recent trip to Owerri on a tl. No special attention was paid to driving style. I easily get 26-27mpg when I do that. 1 Like

rationalmind: I've gotten around 22 mpg before. So, yeah, ratings can be achieved and even exceeded. I just don't like to. 1 Like

Chelseafan1: Bro, I'm speechless. Nice value for money you've got there. One question though, is your AC on? Do you use it always? |
Re: Mercedes Benz Thread by radautoworks: 2:14pm On Jun 08, 2019 |
Chelseafan1: They are doing okay. Hope you are enjoying your vehicle. Remind me year and model please. |

Re: Mercedes Benz Thread by Chelseafan1: 3:20pm On Jun 08, 2019 |
radautoworks: Yeah, I am really enjoying it. 2005 C230k |
Re: Mercedes Benz Thread by Chelseafan1: 3:53pm On Jun 08, 2019 |
Eddee: Yes o, my AC is always on. You'll hardly catch me with my glasses wound down. I wish I could travel for 50km without having to use my brakes and restart gear. Maybe id have achieved 35mpg It stopped at 31 cos I was approaching a new town with bumps installed at intervals, so I had to decelerate and accelerate, even at that, it took some distance b4 it got to 25mpg in the city. |
Re: Mercedes Benz Thread by Chelseafan1: 3:53pm On Jun 08, 2019 |
rationalmind: Nice one bro, my car no dey chop fuel at all, I'm always on AC, at times, I wonder how it will be if I don't use AC sef. |
Re: Mercedes Benz Thread by radautoworks: 4:37pm On Jun 08, 2019 |
Chelseafan1: Tie rods N17,100 - N28,300 each depending on which one it is. Will have to be ordered. Do you know which ones? Inner, outer? Ball joint about N10k on Amazon I think. Ours don't come separately. They come with control arm. |

Re: Mercedes Benz Thread by Chelseafan1: 10:14pm On Jun 08, 2019 |
radautoworks: Lol, maybe shocks alone then |
Re: Mercedes Benz Thread by Eddee(m): 10:47pm On Jun 08, 2019 |
radautoworks: Hello ma'am, I need a quote for front and back shocks with springs for an 04 Mercedes-Benz w211 4matic (converted from airmatic already, so normal coil springs will do). Also, the sway bar/anti roll bar. |
Re: Mercedes Benz Thread by skj1377(m): 11:52pm On Jun 08, 2019 |
Bros nobody is talking nonsense if you have not experienced something don't call people talking about it nonsense you just say what you know. I drove a c230 it was taking forever to get past 200km/h even though it was 7 speed gearbox car was unstable also. Drove e350 after 220km/h no punch in acceleration climbs slowly from 200km/h so it actually takes more than just wheel balance or alignment as I stated. Engine size and condition matters. 2001 s430 was my first Benz sold it and bought s430 2006 am about to sell it an get 2013 s550. All Benz are not like them in terms of acceleration and stability at extremely high speed even in undulating road conditions. So for an s class Benz all you need is good alignment and wheel balance believe me no drama at 250km/h HeavenlyBang: |
