so far i have been ttc for 54 months that is 4yrs nd 6months

I had pcos
Nd didnt mensurate frequently sometimes 3times a year if its not induced by using drugs to force me to ovulate

The thing is i dont ovulate on my own due to d polycystic nature of my ovaries...hence i dont get periods except i taje drufs to ovulate den d period will come

I was seeinga gynea test were done nd dh sperms were all ok

I have had 18 medicated circle

With metformin nd clomid
Clomid and parlodel
Letrozole and parlodel
Letrozole nd hmg
Letrozole nd fsh
Clomid and hmg
Tamoxifen n metformin
Letrozole alone at high doses

All with hcg trigger to acertain ovulation timing

In all i ovulated two eggs spanning 20---24mm

Some were self medications majority were monitored doctor supervised with TVS and follicular tracked circles

Last year i got frustrated after a chemical n decided if ovulation is my problem then what is
Before my medicated circles my first ttc test was hsg nd tubes were clear so i started making plans to change hospital

Fast forward to octorber 2018 i told DH that i wanted him to redo d sfa at somewhere else

This caused tension for days
Men with drama but i didnt care
Finnally he obliged

Who n behold 2m sperm count
I was hrt broken
I nor get time to find who to blame biko
Weda former doc mistake i didnt care
My focus was bringing dt count up as he had high morphology nd motility

I called my pharmacy frnd nd he gave me some vitamins to give to dh
Cost about 18,000
And my mum took me to one loac agbo store wen i opened up to her i bought that one 5000 naira

My pharmacy frnd told me that he shudnt miss a dose till d 3months end

That was november last year

I sae my period in december nd dh started d drugs in november

November till may was hectic for me
I have a new business coupled with we newly moved to our new house in may 4th this year so ttc wasnt my priority

On d 4th of may we moved in
That night after our prayer sessions before opening d house i felt cramps

Was worried went to d bathroom i had d most painful shock of my life big glove of red substance like old blood came out in huge clots something like an abortion period with so much clots

I had a 6day period immediately after d period i had ewcm strange but i bd

Mind u dh drugs finsihed in febuary nd he had not restocked only d native one dts cheap we restocked

I also talked with dh abouut ivf nd we decidedbto use freshsprings in abuja my end of d year

On sunday last week i felt a husge gush again
Tbis time thick dark brown nd foul smelling

I say ah abi na infection
I took cipro
Nd also wasnt feeling fine so i took malaria drugs


Thursday my nipples wont lemme touch dem

So dh said to do a pt
My mind was like when was my period ah
As usualbi felt it had gone awol

So we got a pregnancy est strip
I did it it was faint positive

Waited nd wento to d lag to do a beta hcg it was 1600 pregancy positive
This was by d nxt day

The essence of this epistle was that my sisters i did NOTHING DIFERENTLY i wasnt trying but i also wasnt preventing

All i can say is i have been thanful to Godvfor d new buikding nd d new tenants to call neigbours nd i did midnight ptayer twice as d sprit led me

@legendsmother, am so happy. congratulations. may the Lord guide you throughout the 9months..... pls, can you put me tru on how to use drugs/ gonadotrophin to trigger ovulation & HCG too. hubby & I want to trigger ovulation & try on our own. just did laparoscopy & Dr. said something about the dye wetting the tubes but did not pass out. I'll be waiting impatiently for your reply. also, I want to no if my LH, FSH & PROGESTERONE is OK.

Just saw your message on the cyst. I told you dear just don't go to the hospital for now if you do not have the money as you said. Just keep up with your serrapeptase. There are positive reviews on serrapeptase healing cysts.

But if don't have serrapeptase. Do not worry. Just stay away from junk. Process food, like pastry..etc Eat home cooked - Nigeria food. Junk and eating unhealthy is a another cause of cyst. You can also take apple cider with plenty of water. Hot bottle with Castro oil on your tummy too is good. Do not massage if you have pain. Just rub the castor oil on your tummy. Cover with nylon, then cotton material or old dh singlet. Keep adjusting to what you can bear so that it doesn't burn your skin. Place the hot water bottle on it. Then cover with towel. The warmth together with the oil will bring healing.

Do not take any medication to induce ovulation for now until you heal. Clomid, hcg etc and other ovulation inducing medication can cause cysts too. Stay away from clomid and those other ones one mama recommended for ovulation induction. Pls listen to my advice for your good. Do not cause more damage than good.

@imoge, seriously you need to use Clean Point Tampon cos it has the ability to suck out whatever is resposible for the discharge. Read my previous post on what it does

I didn't want to post my 2nd experience with the tampon cos it looks disturbing but will just attach the pic again and seriously if I had my ways I would have just ignored ttc this month and clean myself properly but on cd9 wen I went for scan a follicle of 17mm was sighted so I can't let it waste like that besides dh is starving cos of the tampons and he's scared cos of the disgusting stuffs that are coming out...e reach to fear sha

I am a new mum of one but unfortunately lost her the next day after delivery due to hospital mismanagement as a result of prolonged labor and feotal distress. It's not been easy but God and good support system has kept me sane.

May God wipe ur tears and turn it to joy. I just kno ovulation comes some days after period. I think from 3-7 days after period . Be on the lookout for cervical mucous. Cucumber n carrot increases the cervical Mucous for me. Try it. And most importantly believe in God for a miracle.

Is well wit you sis and God will come through at the right time but please I'm not sure is safe for you to induce ovulation and injectable on your own without close monitoring, please don't risk it. You need close monitoring through scan so you obviously need to work with your doctor

Darling do not take those drugs, I beg you. That is not what you need now. Work on your tubes and adhesions. Serrapeptase, xi xian cap and yi mu cao and pelvic massage with castol oil will work for you in Jesus name. It has helped a lot of mamas here with similar issues. Just search nairaland you will see.

If your tube/s are blocked or have adhesions that affects reproductive organs where conception take place, there is no amount of ovulation induction drug you take, it won't work except God help you(We know that there is no impossibility with God).

All, please always seek second opinion or even third opinion before any surgery on your belly. Adhesion is another big culprit of infertility. I am not a fan of laparoscopy. Hsg is better in a very good diagnostic center. Some of this doctors are mean and selfish. Sometimes they ask you to carry out surgery whether minor or major when its not just necessary just for their selfish interest. Always ask questions.

Thank you for this , do you know that after I did hsg , a doctor was also pushing for me to do a laparoscopy , that was the last day I set foot there. I don't understand , it seems the doctors these days are more about making money than treating the root cause of the problem. Just few a true to their calling .May God help us all. And crown our efforts with mbfp's ( multiple big fat positive). I greet you all the mamas and papas that are making this group a community of hope for us. We will all testify to the glory of our God in Jesus mighty name Amen...
