Thanks sir. It is definitely not savings; my Bank gave me 6k interest on 2 million naira in a month, treasury bills would have given more than that. I am taking it as investment without stress.

Oga which bank is that? They're even trying

For you to enjoy interest on your savings account, you mustn't withdraw upto thrice within the month considered. This, the bank wouldn't let you know. With advent of ATM and mobile transfer: Reason you don't get interest most times. Around 4% is interest on savings.

This is absolutely true...once you do not withdrew at all or less than three times, you are likely to get an interest. i got an interest on one of my account of 1500 interest on 485,000 simply because i didn't make any debit on the account ...but if one pust that 2million naira on Tbills, one would definitely get far more than that.

Mutual fund (money market fund), would have given you about 20k in a month.

Poor investment return. Imagine profit one will yield running business with similar amount in 2months. I have sat down and discovered that financial institutions are fraud compare to business investment.
oya, in realistic terms, give a typical example of the business that can be run with 100k in 2 months that will yield higher than 1% per month.
..

thank you

Tbills is not a business,it's only a saving plan to help you reach a saving target faster especially if you don't have time for a business or hate taking risk. If you like business and have the time, why dump huge amount of money in Tbills ??
"tbills is not a business"
..
yet only FUGAZ banks made over N285 billion profit from it in 2017...?
..

Question: what was the business of "the richest man in Babylon"?
what is the business of the Rothschild family??

Good morning everyone. I was thinking about starting Tbills with 500k and then invest 30k monthly in MMF, but the current Tbills rate ain't favorable at all. Will it be wise to invest everything in MMF? Please I need your response ASAP.
please, stick to your first plan.
..

i suggest you do 182 days tbills because prices may rise soon And you can add the 180k saved in MMF to tbills by then.

..

HAPPY investing.

See, Dangote is not the Nigerian government.

He said he will start cement, he did.
He said he will start tomato paste, he started.
He said he will start sugar, he did.

Inspite of the prevailing conspiraces against crude oil, dangote wen ahead to set up a very gigantic refinery. Not only that, there are hundreds or even thousands of workers currently undergoing training. You think he is stupeed?

Now following Dangote's progression, are you really doubting that the refinery will soon be fully operational? I hope this addresses the 'when' of your comment.
Dangote that wants to sell petrol at international "unsubsizied" rate of N300!!
..

that refinery will see us paying more for fuels!

..
and yes! Buhari will remove subsidy and BAN importation BEFORE that refinery is completed...

..
because i do not see Buhari as willing to pay Dangote 50% subsidy!

..
Tbills rates shall rise again..2020 loading

please buy in the secondary market today...

..
calculate how much the 2% you have lost since the 8 weeks (2 months/60 days) you have been waiting

..
you will only loose ROLLOVER in the secondary market..everything else is the same...rates are almost same or better.

..

HAPPY investing

Good morning sir, pls I stumbled on this thread 30 mins ago and am shocked at my level of ignorance shocked shocked
I never knew anything called TB or MUTUAL Funds or even Fixed deposit....
I have gone back to previous pages to learn a little I can about them, pls dont be angry kindly let me know sir what I can do, I need serious financial security.

I had a bad experience with STANBIC IBTC in 2017 that made me never trust them, I dont know if it was a mutual fund or something, a neighbour took me to the bank and I was told it was an investment to pay me a high percentage after 90days.... to my uttermost dismay... after 90days... I was paid only a profit of 3540 naira... when I began to shout and get upset.... they told me that they divide the percentage by 365..... I left the bank MAD AND BITTER.... since then I have only saved money in cryptocurrencies, so AM HERE because I need a simple explanation of answer...

IF I HAVE 10MILLION NAIRA THAT I AM NOT USING, BUT WANT TO GET PROFIT FROM IT TO PAY STAFF AND PLAN FOR MARRIAGE.... WHICH OF THE OPTIONS CAN I GO FOR AND WHAT IS THE PROFIT ON EACH FOR JUST 90 DAYS.?

Pls forgive my long post.... am in sefia pain... I am just learning this now after loosing so much money to MMM, LOOM etc..

I have searched online but there is no website where I can accurately calculate ROI for any of the options listed here...

pls help... I need a clear answer, am quite ignorant in this Nigerian stuff

I have been following this thread for years now. At least I read up to 95% of the posts.
Yes I followed the discussion then. After that I decided to test the app with their minimum. I found out that most of the people who talked about it then have not used the app or made proper enquiry. They were just making assumptions.
Many people in this thread that have not tested or used something on this thread are usually making assumptions.

Their business you can do outside of nigeria without having BP. however u need people u can trust. also event center is a good business, thier ways u can monitor it remotely. You can hang camera around the event center to monitor things.
with cameras and time tracker you can run any business from uptown
