For you to enjoy interest on your savings account, you mustn't withdraw upto thrice within the month considered. This, the bank wouldn't let you know. With advent of ATM and mobile transfer: Reason you don't get interest most times. Around 4% is interest on savings. 8 Likes 1 Share |
Re: Treasury Bills In Nigeria by Otunbalai(m): 3:20pm On Jun 14, 2019 |
Barrytone: This is absolutely true...once you do not withdrew at all or less than three times, you are likely to get an interest. i got an interest on one of my account of 1500 interest on 485,000 simply because i didn't make any debit on the account ...but if one pust that 2million naira on Tbills, one would definitely get far more than that. 4 Likes |

Good morning sir, pls I stumbled on this thread 30 mins ago and am shocked at my level of ignorance I never knew anything called TB or MUTUAL Funds or even Fixed deposit.... I have gone back to previous pages to learn a little I can about them, pls dont be angry kindly let me know sir what I can do, I need serious financial security. I had a bad experience with STANBIC IBTC in 2017 that made me never trust them, I dont know if it was a mutual fund or something, a neighbour took me to the bank and I was told it was an investment to pay me a high percentage after 90days.... to my uttermost dismay... after 90days... I was paid only a profit of 3540 naira... when I began to shout and get upset.... they told me that they divide the percentage by 365..... I left the bank MAD AND BITTER.... since then I have only saved money in cryptocurrencies, so AM HERE because I need a simple explanation of answer... IF I HAVE 10MILLION NAIRA THAT I AM NOT USING, BUT WANT TO GET PROFIT FROM IT TO PAY STAFF AND PLAN FOR MARRIAGE.... WHICH OF THE OPTIONS CAN I GO FOR AND WHAT IS THE PROFIT ON EACH FOR JUST 90 DAYS.? Pls forgive my long post.... am in sefia pain... I am just learning this now after loosing so much money to MMM, LOOM etc.. I have searched online but there is no website where I can accurately calculate ROI for any of the options listed here... pls help... I need a clear answer, am quite ignorant in this Nigerian stuff RealityShot: |
