He might not be the best crosser or attacking full back at the, but it's something he can definitely work on.

Have you actually checked their stats? The only thing AWB has over young is his defensive stats. Young beat him in every other thing; Teamplay or attacking wise. Man had 56 crosses in 35 matches last season. 56

I have attached screenshot of some of the CB last season that had equal or better stats than VVD last season. Should we go about buying them at the amount VVD was bought?

Diogo Dalot is there, young, fast and an attacking full back; then let him develop on the job and channel the funds to bolster who'd play in front of his flank. we can say OGS is not looking for quick fix from the type of targets linked so far, the impinge being the overwhelming fetish on players with British roots. perhaps if some of the deadwoods are binned, the wage structure can accommodate versatile options in the team and present the possibility varying approach to matches.

I just read City has cooled their interest in Cancelo because they felt he’s overvalued at 44m euros that Juve are asking for.

If we are paying 35-40m for him then cool but definitely not the 60m that is being quoted. Even sky sports are reporting Crystal palace value him at 70m. Leicester is quoting 80m for Maguire.

It seems we are back to where we are last season. Ogun and Amadioha will strike Ed and OGS if they sanction 60m for Maguire.

I'm in support if we are getting Bissaka at least I know what he's capable of and there's definitely room for improvement, he is young (not Ashley o).
