No immigration personnel can search your luggage @ Nigerian airport, border. In the eyes of foreign immigration service personnel you're a diplomatic envoy. A representative of the Nigerian government. You're giving a first CLASS, VIP /special treatment.

We are not behind. They can cancelled it without even asking for them to return it.

Our electronic passport has so much security features.

with those passports one can also involve himself in some fraudulent acts/impersonation.
So when there's no technology.. there're so many reasons for d passport seizure.

Simple solution, NIS should make diplomatic passports valid for 4years only to NASS, Governors, Ministers and Top level civil servants.

That way, you don't need to chase them about once their tenure elapses, and they're not reelected or reappointed, it will expire in their hands.
