Why talk trash about a player you have not been following his progress? Maja have been injured and before that played a couple of matches and even have a goal to his name. He had a serious injury when he was getting into the team which ruled him out of the season.

charlesemeka85:
You type only recognizes a talent when they hit stardom

Now u are catching feelings..

You were the one clamouring for his call up to the super eagles while still in the carpenters league1 ..I didn't buy all that B.S! When he performs better at a higher level then we will know how good he really is...

There are football talents scattered across the globe my friend.. Not all of them hit stardom. so its only common sense to wait till that happens before we start singing their praise..
U no see Iheanacho?

Apparently, we aren't the only one playing a friendly behind closed doors.. Ghana vs South Africa will b d same..

I wonder the kind of tactic we are trying to hide from each other ... grin

Mujta, I was also feeling really depressed after the abysmal performance at the world cup , however , it took me some months but I have recovered and looking at what the future holds. Consequently, I have learned a lesson...This team is not a very good side...literally anything can happen. I wont be surprised if Burundi beat them mercilessly. You have a coach who is not attack minded....He has no confidence in his players and doesn't give off much hope.

We dont have an Ikpeba/Rashidi/ Kanu
We dont have Okocha/Oruma
We dont have Okechukwu/Taribo

Ndidi sef no measure up to Oliseh/Adepoju

This team in very average with players not playing season long.
My point, dont put your hopes too high.

For a decent club in a top flight league to poach him from league 1 means the lad have qualities. So u can go hug the nearest transformer in ur neighborhood. He is just 20 and still have enough room to get better. And mind you before his injury dude started some matches and spearheaded the teams attack which is testament to his qualities a d the faith the coach have in him. Watch out for him next season

You are missed Bro, same as Nerd. AFCON is here, let's enjoy it together on this Thread. We do not need to put more hope on the Team like some are doing. Mike-2 is actually doing balance Analysis. I respect his objectivity a lot.

Omonbala has spoken the bitter truth. The Squad is average, but we are happily believing they've reached the stardoms already. ChrisKels does open our Eyes that mostly our Players are better off as Carpenters, alas! He's being advised to change Nationality. Lol!

This was how we rated our U20 until we were disgraced honorably. Some of us argued that Aigbogun is a round Peg in the square hole, but we were told to unfollow the Team which we obliged satisfactory.

Bro, your inputs are needed, goldfish is another notable Moniker i am missing on this Thread.

Then why mock him? Or u have been waiting and hoping he flops for u to come up with the comment u made earlier?

I wanted him to be capped because I want the best for the super eagles in the future. He showed promise in the English 3rd tier at a young age and any super eagles fan won't want us to lose such talent. The future is the plan not immediate result. From the 3rd tier of English football he is now playing in one of the top leagues in Europe which is progress. So watch him metamophose to a better player in the nearest future rather than celebrating his failure so far

As average as our squad is,we still have the quality to rival the best teams on the Continent... we have the talent bro..we always have..

Rohr is the problem here..His tactic is the major undoing of this team.. I used to like him until I saw his lineup against Croatia... what made me even madder was the fact that he played enough friendly games that showed us the best formation that would work for the team against European oppositions and the best players for each role..and he went ahead to start with a 4-2-3-1 and Shehu..Iwobi on the flanks . I'm still mad about it bro..still very mad..

If he won't win us the AFCON or at least get to d final with some really good performance he should be sacked!!

God knows I don't hype players but make steady mention of those who I have monitored closely and believe that they have something to offer our various national teams.

I will keep on recommending and mentioning the names of players who I believe will add qualities to national team be it the u20, u23 and the senior national team

My AFCON strongest eleven. In the absence of Djene, Colley and Bailly, I had to pick Benatia to partner Kalidou in the CB, due to o his experience and pedigree. My front three did creditably well this past season hence, Zaha and Mahrez couldn't make the cut, though, I had to play Mane centrally. In the midfield, Partey and Ndidi were top notch, then, the icing in the cake comes in the form of Ziyech.

*****************ONANA(CAM)*************

Aurier*****Koulibaly****Benatia*****Hakimi

********Ndidi(NIG)*****Partey(GHA)*******

What do u guys make of this?
