Thanks a lot for your reply, do you suggest I cancel the interview and start the f2a application right away? And I just checked online and you are right, its current for F2A, I will cancel the interview and start this right away. Thanks a lot.

Correct. Jump on doing that ASAP.

Are you in the US or Nigeria? If in Nigeria they won't ask for it. If this is their first interview then they should go with marriage certificate, birth certificate, a couple of progressing family pictures. Maybe statement of account

You need to call the embassy for that Info. You might want to go for your interview cos I saw at least three people on wheelchair. One in ankle cast. They might give you opportunity to interview first

Hi Guys,
Please what are the chances for a family of 4 going to the u.s for a vacation, along with their grandma; both parents are working and bring in up to a mil monthly and the kids are ages 19 and 11? One's in university and the other in secondary school. The grandma is working and has a very good income as well. They would like to travel for her 70th birthday and just to have fun and leisure time. Location is in dallas, where a brother lives, he's a citizen with a family and a good job.
Please what are the likely questions to be asked and how would they be able to prove home ties?
Also, how best do you put across that you you're just going for a vacation? (The proposed travel time in the ds-160 is between july-september and they want to spend 3 weeks). (They have been to the u.s once (mother, kids and grandma),about 12 years ago and have taken a family trip to s.a 4 years ago. Both parents have a lot of travel history.)

Thankyou

Visa was approved. Thanks guys

Hello, good day. Please, while scheduling interview for U.S. B2/visitor's visa, is there provision for selecting the language to be interviewed in. Mom doesn't speak or understand English language well. Am scheduling her interview but can't find where to pick Igbo as language to be interviewed with. Please help.
Re: USA Visit Visa Part 4 by Timika: 11:11am On Jun 17, 2019
I have scheduled the appointment in English, can I change to Igbo?

She asked questions about the first time I applied for visa in 2000. Asked me questions concerning a trip in 2016. I stayed 4months. I told her why. She asked if the embassy was aware I was staying that long. She also asked how long I will stay on this trip.

I will get my friends own today. Hers was a more tough interview.

This has actually been going on for a while now. When I attended my 221g interview earlier this year, I was asked questions from the very first Visa I got. I was even single then. This lady pulled up my transcript.

If you have no business in the US other than to go for vacation, pls kindly look for another country to do the vacation. There are so many beautiful western countries where you can enjoy your vacation. Lets give US a rest toll maybe next year after the elections. And that is if trump doesn't win. If he does, it's going to get tough.
I heard one of the reasons they stopped dropbox was because some Nigerians on b category Visa started living in us permanently. When it's time to renew their Visa, they will fill the application online and send their passport down to Nigeria from the US. Get the Visa renewed and DHL the passport back to them without leaving the us

This is mostly f-1 students. For bi/b2, I struggle to see how you can do this. You are typically stamped in for a duration that you cannot exceed.

And why renew when you're already in U.S for more than 6 months.

Yes, people with B1/B2 visas also violated the given legal durations given to them by the US CBP officers.

With due respect I disagree with this, everyone going into the US with visa are stamped in and out, so how come u can renew.

You landed in US and was stamped in for 6 month, you didn't leave so how do you get stamped out,. On renewal if your visa if the exit stamp is not seen and also shows on the system do you think you visa will be renewed.

The US immigration does not stamp out foreigners passport...they only stamp in the foreigner arriving into the US.

However, I think it is the Airlines that gives the information to the US immigration the people who boarded their planes departing the US.

Now once the foreigner( in the case of a Nigerian) the Nigeria immigration officer will place an admit stamp into the Nigeria passport holder to verify arrival date into Nigeria.

yes,not good but this is the point where desperation has pushed a few numbers hence destroying the chances of many others who are genuine.
Aside our government we all have individual roles to play. The problem came from individual effort and same way we can reverse it. Look at Hongkong their rallies over wat they perceive wrong. A colleague just came back from Malaysia from a training and he told us, he is dissapointed in our people cos all they do their is drugs, prostitution, internet scam and related. We no de tire?

Well, I don’t see any possibility of @the bolded happening per the US B1/B2 visa, unless the US system gets compromised. OP, Beautyaddy and Awumen, I’m surprised at your post, really. Even my oga Overlord77 (off record, are you a “metalled officer” based on your 77 sir?) seems to be falling for this, not clear to me though.

Regular people like myself and you guys can check out our I-94 online without breaking a sweat. Then somebody that got into US having been ten-printed by the CBP will remain in the system and then be bold to even send in his/her passport for renewal? And will now have it renewed? You have to virtually kill them first! I think I have to be educated on this possibility sha, I don’t know this at all. Spend 181 days without permission for that one extra day and an alarm is triggered off on your visa, becoming as good as invalid.

Backdating date of arrival from the UK to Nigeria for example got “knocked” since 2012 (it used to cost £40-60 I think), they learnt from the Americans. The UK authorities will tell you the exact date you left their country if you try that yeye nonsense with them. I know a couple of persons that got repatriated back then. NIS even moved to changing their stamp/ink type every month then sef. It became difficult and almost useless to get them to do backdating for you.

I remember checking my I-94 history a few years ago while in Canada, I noticed they captured the date I last left but no POE, my wife’s wasn’t captured at all and it was some bit of worry for us (we actually left from LGA to YYZ). But on our next individual US visits after 6 months passed, we both noticed that they had a clear record of when we left their country.... They needed us out of Canada and the US first maybe, because that I-94 was still valid for a US comeback without hassles.

They don't stamp but SCAN your passport out. You can even check your travel (entry and departure) history here https://i94.cbp.dhs.gov/I94/#/home.

They don't need any airline to get your travel details.

An off record overstay in the US on a B1/B2 visa to my limited understanding is impossible. Unless maybe (like our people do in some other countries) someone else leaves the US with your passport, and you will be the only person that can enter the US with your fingerprint and visa surely, no one else can by flying in.

This must be a new development though...and why does it state being limited though. See this quote "certain types of travel history may not be provided".
