Please house, what is the cause of delay even after 2weeks of receiving BVL? The person applied with an upfront medical which was updated to pass on the 28th may, on 7th June, she got a BVL and since then, no decision. Is this normal? |

papijulah:was it a paper application? |
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 16 by papijulah: 4:57pm On Jun 21, 2019 |
Chukwuemekatehi: Yes. My other friend that got a pick up mail from vfs yesterday also got his final decision mail. I believe they rejected him for no actual reason. Cos this guy is a big business man and has traveled all over the world with business and personal account of over 70m. All documentation was top notch. Reason they couldn't come up with a refusal excuse |

Micmay1:It could be, but with a very good and convincing sop you could scale through that. How early do you intend to reapply? 1 Like |

Sometimes its not all about how much in the account but how well one can convince the VOs through an SOP. papijulah: |

Hello everyone I’m new here, although I have been a silent reader and this platform has really helped me a lot with some important details regarding my application but I have a little problem and I am seriously confused and tired So I applied for my student visa to Canada via the paper route on the 21st of May 2019 and I just got a correspondence letter today 21st of June 2019( exactly 1month). I’m getting really scared because I was told it’s better to get called for medicals before they send the biometrics correspondence letter. I applied from Nigeria and it seems my application is being handled in Nairobi. I applied for a second degree course in the university of Manitoba and my dad is my sponsor. Please do I have anything important to be worried about Should I do my medicals ahead?? Is there any positive sign in all of this Please someone should help me with something |
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 16 by Nobody: 6:07pm On Jun 21, 2019 |
Thommy49: From what I have been seeing here, it is a rejection if you get biometric correspondence letter before medical letter. I advise to start gathering your documents for another application. |

I feel so sad I was denied visa few days ago and this is the stated reasons I am not satisfied that you will leave Canada at the end of your stay, as stipulated in subsection 216(1) of the IRPR, based on the purpose of your visit. I am not satisfied that you will leave Canada at the end of your stay, as stipulated in subsection 216(1) of the IRPR, based on your personal assets and financial status. Gurus in the house how do I convince them that I will leave canada at the end of my study. please Help a sister ooo |

papijulah:Travelled around the world? Over 70M, and still got denied? I think there's something wrong with his application. Probably, his SOP lacks some vital information. |

Opana1: Bros, Like I said, there was a clause in my statement which says I maybe wrong. To the bolded above, we should learn but not take it seriously and also make sure we do the right thing. We are all entitled to our belief and opinions and I spoke based on my own instincts which doesn’t fail me. I maybe wrong to some but I work with convinctions. This is a faceless forum where so many pple can come up with fake Approval news. Won’t you believe? I have a very close friend, he paid agent for work permit in Canada, agent keep telling him that they will soon call him for Biometrics.pls tell me does biometrics take up to 2years? See, I have a lot of experience on this traveling stuff that’s why I make sure I do proper research before I do my things. I may be wrong anyway but we are all here to learn but still I believe in convictions that why I gave such response. Nevertheless, I really appreciate your response. |

Good day house, I want to do upfront medicals. my question is: can I do it just after online submission of application and send to CIC or it should be before the application submission? suggestions from those who did upfront medicals will be appreciated. |

This denial issues isnt getting funny atall.. Those guys are heartless now. I personally think theres more to this stuff than just a good sop, documentations or financial asset. Its obvious that people going for higher degrees like msc and phd are well considered before those going for college programs and bsc. they should be specific when giving reasons for denial.. Other than the normal generic reasons which often prompt us to reapply and end up being refused with another generic reason. I know the number of Nigerians trying to migrate into Canada is very high currently and as such they are left with little or no option. What if they have certain number of international students they allow into a particular province yearly or into a particular college yearly? Theres definitely some kinda trick or standard they are using... Lets keep our faith Alive. 2 Likes |

bennyg24: since you have the money and wanna do it, do it before you submit your application, so that you can just upload the medical sheet once and for all. |

ralfudoh: To a very large extent you are you a right but I am just curious like you said and what your statement means is that background check is always on till they request for and after request for passport?? The way some agents or relative treat applicants during visa process as if they are thin God is part of my assumptions to what contributed to some reactions. So many pple have stories to tell but then, we should be careful of the pressure anybody want to give you during the tension period of waiting for approvals. I will only advice people to tidy up their applications, do the needful, avoid agent at all cost, ask questions on this forum and do more research like I just learnt something from you too. I appreciate your response on this forum. 1 Like |

papijulah:There is a particular VO in Kenya that derives joy in refusing application. Check his/her ID CODE on GCMS notes, u will identify him. His style of CAIPS notes is "PA has prior travel and good home ties which are positive factors but I will attach little weight to this positive factors. The PA study plan is vague and poorly documented and not a reasonable expense. Based on this, the PA will not return after his study in Canada. On this reason, I am refusing this Study Permit. You will find this notes in his notes whereas the practice direction and the manual for Canadian Visa Officers emphasize that once an applicant has a substantial positive factors, the VO needs no further proof of the likelihood of the applicant returning back to his/her home country. Many of the VO decisions against Nigerians cannot stand the legal scrutiny of judicial review. It is just that it is a bit expensive. 1 Like |

kcosam:Important but not compulsory. So many people have gotten their TRV without it, if you apply without it and CIC needs it they will ask you to go get it while your app is been processed |
