Yes, that's the life of a man. Its hard, it's a life of stoicism, and doing what you have to do to do, especially as men by nature, do not socially bond like women and talk about our problems. Its about surfing in the storm, that in all intent, is bound to drown you. You're not the only one feeling like this, I will take a leap of faith and put forth that most men will come to the stage in their life where they will feel hopeless, will search for meaning, and feel alone. What you do in those trying will times will determine if you've passed the rite of passage to be called a man.

You may check out Jordan Peterson on YouTube, a professor of psychology at the uni of Toronto, Canada. He has really interesting content concerning dealing with life and the difficulties of masculinity. You may also buy his book "the twelve rules of life", it will help refine your masculinity.
