Re: Polish Student Visa by vibrant99(m): 11:50am On Jun 11, 2019
Should be when you get your conditional admission, then you legalize , then you take the documents to Poland!

Harzhy:
Pls I want to ask that will I need to legalize my transcripts and bachelor degree at the Polish Embassy before uploading it to apply for M.Sc in Poznan University of Technology or after the Admission is granted.

I have secured admission in Poznan Uni of Life Science and it's tuition free. Can I apply for visa with the admission documents sent to my email or should I wait for the original copy to be sent via post mail. It could take long b4 receiving the post.

Since my course is tuition free like how much balance should be in my sponsor's account?

I think you’d need to prepare a letter of invitation, inviting the said person to nigeria. Then he/she takes it to the embassy

Hello, I'm in a country very close to Poland. I will like to ask you some questions regarding Poland.
Maybe via Email. Do well to send me a mail or drop yours please.
Regards.
Odera22:
You need a good sum of money, i think 5million is ok but it should be a good account with steady flow of income. The visa refusal rate has reduced as it was before we came. You will be refunded if you are rejected that should not take up to 2 weeks. There are good number of jobs in Poland for students here.

Hi all, is there any beneficiary of the Ignacy Lukasiewicz Scholarship Programme here? If so, I would greatly need and appreciate your response to my post. I would like to ask some questions

1. I would like to know if it is compulsory for me to apply for admission while I await the results of the merit based evaluation? To rephrase, is getting admission a necessity now since I will be taking preparatory courses before studies? I personally think it will be better to apply by 2020 when the scholars are required to begin their studies

2. Can one still change school and course of study upon being selected for the award?

3. The scholarship body stated that recipients will be entitled to a monthly allowance of 1700PLN. My question on this is, will this money be sufficient for the standard of living in Polish big cities?

4. Fourthly, I read some previous thread on NL where some people talked about the ease of getting either a US visa or Cannadian Visa during summer as a Polish student. Is this still the case?

5. If I get the scholarship, when would be the best time to apply for VISA? Also, does it make it easier for me to get a VISA being a scholarship recipeint?

6. Last but not the least, are the scholarship recipients allowed to stay back in Poland after study to work? If so, will it require me to apply for a work permit?

Big thanks for helping through this.

Regards.

Modified--- Had to mention people so I could get swift response.

Hello
Please a few questions.

- I have 2 kids, what are the chances of getting a student visa with them included in the package
- is there an age limit for undergraduate studies?
- can I work with a student visa?
-how long can I stay back after graduation to job hunt?
-are there short courses I can take for like a few months or a year, not nessesarily a bachelors degree?

@kennynelcon and others please help
Re: Polish Student Visa by kennynelcon(m): 9:47pm On Jun 25, 2019
I can’t answer all these, you can work with students visa and stay back as long as you want provided you have something doing here or have ties here

Hi you can use your Uncle’s statement, you can also legalize with a lawyer but it is advisable to go through government agencies and ministries. All your Educational certificates you must legalize at the Ministry of Education.
