You gave a list of 12 foreign players and you claimed they were the key players. See the bolded below.

But how come you forgot to list Barthez and Blanc among the key players? grin

You still went ahead to post a snapshot of the lineup with Blanc missing against Brazil just to claim those on the list were the key players. grin

Why didn't you mention Blanc? grin

Where you just being mischievous? grin

How many goals did Giroud score for France in the last world cup?

Does it change the fact that he was a key player or a star in the team? grin

You thought that Chelsea player chopping bench was among the key players without knowing Blanc was the key player but didn't make the final because of the red card he got on the Semi finals.

The reason there is inconsistency in your argument is because you don't know. grin

You now dropped another ignorant comment that Trezeguet and Henry were not stars as that time. Chaiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii! You fall my hand no bi small. grin

Go back and read what you quoted. I clearly wrote the names of the Foreign based players in the French squad. How the hell do you want me to list Blanc. From the list, (I know you will not understand because you did not watch or have an idea), most of the foreign players were the star players of the team.

Add Barthez and Blanc. Finish. Guivarc'h was poor, so can not be rated a star of the team. So, what happened to the Ligue 1 superstars who were in your Coefficient language best league in the World by then? It was even youngsters from the league that were benching. What happened to the best Coefficient club from your Google knowledge? PSG. No player from there played for France.

You can see how flawed your Coefficient authority is. If you like, continue Coefficienting and argue what you do not understand.

As if you watched Ikpeba, Trezeguet and Henry at Monaco. They were star players but not star players of the French team. They were new young players in the team. You will not know that because you can only Google and paste. Thierry Henry and Trezeguet were not like Mbappe to the French team.

They were not star players of the team. That is why they were bench materials.

Now you have learnt. Google some more. Who will Pires and Dugarry bench? Ha. As I said, you have no idea what you are arguing with. Just like me googling and arguing Henry Nwosu when I can not remember watching him play.

Someone wey no know Blanc na em wan know Trezeguet? Bhuhahahaha

I am sure you will Google to search for Anderson. grin

You said Trezeguet and Henry were not stars but after showing you shumthing you suddenly agreed they were stars but not star players of French team. Bhuhahahaha! grin

Guy, you are confusing yourself. grin

For your information, Henry started 3 games out of all
the 7 games played came on in the first half in another game. He came on in second half on two occasions.

Trezeguet started 2 matches out of seven and came on in the second half on 4 occasions. How are they bench materials?

They were stars going into the world cup. They were even more popular than Mbappe. grin

Going by Rohr's pre match conference, its certain that Akpeyi roll start again. while Balogun might partner Ekong at CB and Omeruo plays RB...

But the bigger question is: Where will Mikel play??

Etebo as inconsistent and sometime ineffective as he is will be very valuable for us in this tournament due to his energy and massive work rate in midfield....

When you are typing, people you think you know what you are saying or you were there. Henry was no star of the French team and was not in the first eleven. Coming from the bench shows you are not a star player. Unless you do not know star players.

Please read the image posted and let us see if you even had an idea how good Monaco were. I was the one that pointed it out. You went to Google and trying to claim knowledge.

Where are your Coefficient PSG Players? Or your UEFA is no more an authority.

Do I know Sunny Anderson? Do not even start. Do you? Because I know Sunny Anderson well. He was a brilliant Brazilian that was hardly called up. Maybe because he was in a Mickey mouse league.

Forget all these talk. I watched almost every match in France 98 and watched every match in Nigeria 99. As I am writing, it is not some Google stuff like you.

Do you know Hassler of Germany. That was euro 96 when Gascoigne was brilliant for England.

You are just arguing. Last month, I worked with one of the analysts of NTA Port Harcourt who had an analysis show of France 98. I do not watch ball again. Back then, there was no YouTube. You have to keep tabs with every game to talk football.

They were stars going into the world cup.

You are funny. So the whole Brazilian squad were the stars of the team. As you are like this now, you will call Osimhen star of the Super Eagles team.

By the way, Henry started three games, not four. No need for the jara. As I said, there is a difference from us who watched it, this is over 20 years and I can still regurgitate things you need Google to check. It will tell you my depth then.

Henry was not among the stars. Even that Pires. I will even tell you my best player of the French team. It was Youri Djorkaeff. My best player of the World Cup, Ariel Ortega. I can tell you Ortega got a red card for head butting Van Der Sar after Van Der Sar was scolded him for going down easily. Not long after that, Bergkamp scored the winning goal.

I can tell you in the England vs Argentina and the Netherlands vs Brazil, John Fashanu was one of the analysts and NTA commentator for the games. To inform you, John Fashanu is a mad footie analyst. You will learn loads if he analyses a game for you.

Before you talk Google. Lol.

My Personal opinion about this years AFCON:

1 It is the worst in recent years

2 Nigeria won't win. Our greatest undoing would be the GK and our Coach especially

3 Senegal would reach the finals

4 Uganda would reach the Semis

5 Mane would cement his place as Africa's best

grin cheesy

2019 AFCON WATCH:
Amuneke: Tanzania Still In Race For AFCON 2019 Round Of 16 Spot

Tanzania coach Emmanuel Amuneke has played down the East African’s defeat to Senegal in their first Group C match of 2019 African Cup of Nations in Egypt, informing Completesports.com that despite the setback, his charges are still in strong contention for one of the qualification tickets in the group.

Amuneke will lead the Taifa Stars out on Thursday at the 30 June Stadium in Cairo against East African rivals, Kenya, at 9pm Nigerian time.

Senegal and Algeria are also billed to cross each other’s path earlier same day and venue, but at 6pm, Nigerian time.

Amuneke reckons that his players have put behind the disappointment of their defeat to the Terranga Lions and are now poised to give their all in the remaining two group games starting with Thursday’s crunchy clash against The Harambee Stars.

“We are not talking about the past (loss to Senegal),” the former African Footballer of the Year (1995) told Completesports.com in and exclusive chat.

“We can’t reverse any thing, we have to think and plan for the future.

“Our objectives for coming here is to do well, and irrespective of what happened in the match, I think we still have opportunity to make up with the remaining games and move to the next stage. That’s our objective.

“As human beings, we will do our best, and God who knows where we will reach even before coming here will take care of the rest,” the former Nigeria U17s coach who won the 2015 FIFA U-17 World Cup in Chile stated.

Not that I am really convinced by akpeyi I won't lie but rohr is not bias

But I like rohr because all players are getting their chances equally ,but onyekuru has been the unlucky one sha ,even onauchu got his little chance ,and I beleive osimhen will get his chance soon

Should Nigeria win guinea and osimhen didn't start the game ,I beleive we might see him start the last game against Madagascar
