Hello everyone,so I got my PPR on June 14th (Yay!!!)and it's been very busy trying to sort things out in preparation but I have to give back to the place I got so much information from.

My NOC is 6332(Baker) self employed, I was worried because I researched and never saw anyone with that code. Am a qualified professional but that's where I could earn points. Basically, seen alot of people asking questions about bakers,I submitted as proof were

Tax clearance ( I have been paying my tax over the years as it's a requirement to get contracts with some established brands),

reference letters from old customers, new customers and suppliers,Some of them had commended me on social media for jobs I had done and added their social media links and phone numbers

Company( yes,I had an incorporated business) bank statements that showed transactions with those customers and suppliers ( I am also sole signatory to account)

Certificate of baker related trainings attended, CAC documents and Lagos state bakers association membership certificate ( forgot to add my membership ID card)

POF proof and my personal account statement

Overall I prayed and fasted

Please note that since I started the process I have been consistent in paying myself salary(2yrs no default even when business was tight),so this will reflect in my personal account.

*I also tried to have more regular posts on Instagram after AOR. They called my company line to make enquiries because my staff reported a foreign number +1.... Called and was asking questions about what we do,thank God he answered well( I pretended it wasn't relevant while he was talking but I was so happy he spoke well)

To everyone trying to use this NOC, I hope these points help. All the best !! Thank you to all that shared freely here

Work experience during university counts for FSW Outland which I believe applies to us. People have used it and gotten PPR

These emails littered everywhere are so tiring to read. Please can we drop them on the ielts thread? It is just a subtle appeal to sanitize the thread.

Many thanks.

HONESTLY THE ESSENCE OF THIS THREAD IS CHANGING TO IELTS, THERE IS A SPECIAL THREAD FOR IELTS AND IMO SHOULD BETTER TREAT SUCH. THE EMAIL LITTERED IS ALOT AND IT IS SWALLOWING THE ENTIRE PAGE.

THEN PLS YOU DON'T HAVE TO COPY AND ENTIRE QUOTE, ITS DISGUSTING SEEING LOOOONG QUOTES EVERYWHERE. THIS HAS BEEN SAID SEVERALLY BUT BECAUSE OF POOR READING CULTURE, PEOPLE BYPASS SIMPLE INSTRUCTIONS.

THIS THREAD IS BECOMING BORING WITH THESE EMAILS AND LONG QUOTESjavascript:void(0);

please house i have a few question that i need help with:

My husband is the principal applicant
36 year old(by Aug 2019)
Has 2 Bsc one Masters
Has 5 year work experience (I didn’t add his NYSC experience)
working on taking another test to help get more points.
But his points aren’t enough even if he slays English by getting the highest numbers.

I only have WAEC cert

Did a Certificate course in Occupational Health and Safety, got a job as a HSE officer worked for 2years. Can I claim points for work experience and help my husband get points without BSc or OND?

1) If you are not the principal applicant you can't claim points on work experience.
2) your certificate course would only be recognised if there is a transcript.
3) if you are much younger you can try registering for BCS CIT( it's an IT course taking place in September and results would be out in December) and also a diploma course so you can claim *two or more degree certificate points* and be the principal applicant.
4) you can try looking at provincial nomination program.

Hi,

Yes to the first question as their evaluation of your degree gives the same points for masters.

No to the second question, it isn't needed. Your LL.B is enough.

Yes to third question.

I used WES and my degree got evaluated as, an ordinary BSc, which didn't give the desired points. So I opted for IQAS.

I hope this helps.

Have a nice day!

Edmontonlad:
To evaluate Law degree, one has to use IQAS? Should the person add his law school certificate/transcript?

What will the report come as? Equivalent of Masters Degree?

If the person decides to use WES, what will the degree come out as?

Please help. I want to help a clueless friend.

This is the way i was feeling this morning. When Ralph replied eligibility not initiated on June 11th, i didnt even bother waking up by 2am to check mail inbox, spam folder, do a search in my mail with CPC and IRCC ( keyword search), check my profile.

My Canada walk started in 2016,my husband wasnt so interested. I did his Wes, followed up on Transcript with his school, etc. I soft pedalled till 2017 when i started writing IELTS. IELTS humbled me sha, I wrote 5times!!!(I felt funny because writing was always spoiling my grades at 6.5...i initially thought it was 4times ,while gathering my documents for Submission I discovered another result!. At the 5th attempt ...9, 8.5, 7,8.5 my tutor was not happy but i was464!

ITA Nov 15th
AOR jan 12th
Mep Feb 20th
ADR Feb 23rd ( UK PCC for hub...i initially did an LOE that it was not ready at submission date)uploaded within an hour of ADR
