We used to enjoy it here without any ish, you just download and apply, later things became difficult with miui 8 and the only solution was using miui theme editor, it was miui 9 that totally killed everthing, since then nothing can be done unless you port to miui based custom roms like xiaomieu.

wrong ..helio p60 is better than 636 and 632 ..its close to 660 ..660 beats it in terms of optimization and gpu

There's more to a chipset than benchmark scores. Even if it is close to SD855, that doesn't mean shet when it lacks support.

If you don't want your device to be left behind, avoid MTK chipset like a plague

Naxo, I nr go forget this same argument with the Redmi note 4 mtk versus snapdragon, the 'benchmark only ' people rush the mtk version but see where we dey now grin. Who even still remembers the mtk helio X series,? Even the X30 when some dey blindfully compare with the Snapdragon 820.

the very first screen that comes up after restart, the MI logo and the 'unlocked' writing at the bottom of the screen shows very clearly..but after that point on, its all blank..
Oga your screen has not gone bad. The rom you flashed has bricked itself most likely.

You're lucky it didn't damage your screen by messing up the pixels like someone's own that was posted here some days ago.

There's no comfort than using the follow-come official rom

Please i need some help... currently using an S7 Edge and want to change phone.. was looking at the k20 hpping to get it for 130k buh its way more than that so i'm left with two choices, galaxy A70 & Note 7 pro.. the A70 has a beefier battery and Samoled screen (which i'm used to) but a dissapointing camera(RN7 is even better not to talk of RN7 pro) while the RN7 pro display looks washed out and dull next to the A70 but has an insane camera(trades blows with current flagships).. im worried about the chinese rom as i dont want to brick my phone when updates come.. both have the same ram, storage, and chipset(SD675), A70 has a 4500mAh battery while RN7 pro has 4000mAh...which would you advise i choose as i do not want to regret my decision
P.S things i look for in a phone
1) Performance (Hardware & software)
2) Battery life
3) Camera (coming from S7 Edge.. been spoilt by good cam)

Please help a brother and sorry for the epistle grin

Don't rush to buy just any size, avoid those 100L type, even the 160L is overpriced in my opinion, if you can add a little or wait a bit, get the 200L, it's not even cheaper on Jumia, go to physical stores and get it, someone got it around February for 82k when Jumia was selling at 88k.

Thanks very much, I am very grateful Bro, thanks everyone

My phone can't access anything Google via mobile network, all Google apps including Google web via all app browser always show no network. Every other thing works well while browsing. Also notice I don't have the issue when using wifi.

Exactly. Google keeps adding features which one had to tweak to enjoy in earlier versions of Android. Reason why I chose not to tamper my device anymore

Why not head back to XDA and see what other users of this rom are commenting. Others must have faced the same issue. The rom's display configuration is most likely the cause.
Your other option is to flash another rom

Since no one is chasing you to change your phone,I will advance you to wait for mi 9t(k20) price to reduce, maybe by this time next month....
...
...
But if you cant wait and you want to spend extra 30k for an amoled screen, and wide angle camera,go for the a70
..Battery on both
phones are same, since amoled consumes more battery than LCD on a white/coloured pixel, unless you will use darkmode on the a70 forever that's when battery can be slightly better
...
Btw ,there is nothing wrong in using a chinese version, many people have been using it here, updating their phones without issues
..
