You won't get night mode until you update your device.

As for font go to theme app search any of Aafont, free or Moby fonts. Choose download and apply

Go to settings, display. You'll see dark mode. If you can't find it, then it means you have to update your phone to get it.

You know what? Not only are the the mi A series phones "future proof" with "3 years of software support", there's also tweaking community support too which exceeds 3 years simply because they use Snapdragon.
