Earthquake3:Lol. Balogun’s experience would be of benefit to the team. If Balogun ain’t there, then Omeruo should be there. Now, I also agree that Ndidi would be a very good addition to the team. 3 Likes |

timay: That Ahmad guy no sabi at all.... Do u know that part of the decision CAF made in 2017 include moving the CAF CL and CC to follow the UEFA calendar? Starting from this year the competition will run from July/August to May/June just like the UCL and Europa league... That means African countries have to readjust their league calendar to fit in..That's why Nigeria and Zambia (and I guess a few other countries) had to run abridged league to meet up with the deadline... Previously it was only South Africa league that used to follow d European format(main reason why their clubs used to be poor at confidential tournaments) I just dy observe...It's clear that d man has come with an agenda to please the Oyinbo lords and help southern Africa countries too... 1 Like |

darkelf: I no understand this copa america All teams are playing safe, this should be the 3rd goaless draw, and i am not sure there is even extra time, brazil won with penalty with no goals scored during the game, same thing with chile and peru Nobody can predict the winner, chile might scale to the finals for the 3rd time in a row |

tbaba1234:Not only South Africans have made such claims, even your own countrymen on this very thread. You Nigerians are very sentimental. I think you guys don't understand what the word " overated" means. By saying Mikel is "overrated", I by no means saying he is a bad player, he is good but nowhere as good as you guys make him out to be. He happened to play in a good Chelsea team to be honest and his time there was characterized by a lot of back and sideways passing even Steven Pienaar was far superior at Everton. Tau was poor in the first game, yes but the whole South African team didn't show up against the Ivory Coast. He was MOTM against Namibia. Iwobi has been Europe for a while now but also yet to provide himself 5 Likes |

One Major beauty of the 24 team tournaments: It gives every team a chance, up to the last group game, to qualify. In this system every game is important. 5 Likes 1 Share |

Looking at some of the missed chances in the match between Angola and Mauritania, its obvious that for some players, football is not their calling. They should just go and do ICAN 6 Likes 1 Share |

IronGalaxy: Iwobi is doing well for arsenal and he is a regular player there, when last was a south africa player playing in europe top club? you have a better and organized league but Europeans suitors dont even bother to look at your league because the players there are craps Should i also let you know that egypt and algeria have a better league like you guys but you will still find their players in top european club, so whats your excuse? Dean furman best was at doncaster rovers a league one english club, lol, he had to run and return back home Tau cannot even get into brighton team they have to loan him to Belgium second division and not even belgium first decision When it come to footballing issues you south Africans really need to shut up your dirty mouths What do you really have to say ? Lol 12 Likes 1 Share |

andrew444:Lol, don't lie Iwobi is no regular, he's a bit part player at best and you need to check comments from Arsenal fans what they really think of him, you'll be humbled., Mustafi and Xhaka are also crappy players and they start from time to time. You really need to stop acting like everyone who plays in Europe is some Pele or something Our league is made of crap players and yet many players from the continent have used it as their springboard to Europe. Your Emenike played in our second division before moving to Europe, check how many players in the Afcon come from our league, your number goalie also plays in our league as well and you have the guts to downplay it There are myraid of reasons why our players don't move much to Europe. Some of our players refuse to move to countries like Greece, Turkey , Belgium etc because SA clubs can match them in salaries. It is to the detriment of our players but it's one of the reasons . We still have talent across Europe though, Photo, Dolly in France, that Leshabane boy at Leicester, Foster at Monaco, we have Mathews at Borussia Dortmund etc, it's just that Bafana coaches have not alway chosen the right players Another lie, Egypt doesn't have a lot of players in Europe, only Salah and El Neny play for reputable European clubs the rest are home based dominated by Al ahly players , in fact North Africans have always boasted national teams dominated by home players while Algeria"s players surge into Europe' s big time is a recent phenomenon Dean was playing in English league one so what? Don't act as if Nigerian players play for Real Madrid, Barcelona, Bayern et al. Odemwingie was playing at Rotherham not long ago as well and some of your players could be found at backwaters such as Vietnam, Cambodia, Thailand etc. Football is football, this European fixation is boring. Zambia won the Afcon with a team dominated by PSL beating a star studded Ivory Coast led by Drogba Lastly, the fact that Tau was loaned by Brighton has nothing to do with his footballing prowess but has all to do with red tape. The team that Tau plays for is owned by the same owner that owns Brighton so since Tau can't play in the Premiership owing to permit issues it only makes sense that he plays for this team, they wouldn't buy him if they weren't interested in him. Would a Premiership directly buy a player plying his trade for Kano pillars to begin with? 6 Likes |
