Ighalo needs to improve if he wants to be relevant in the SE team. There are lots of strikers in and out of Nigeria. But you need connections to be selected most times. If we don't have a reputable No.9, please let's leave the number free. Ighalo can wear 19 or something else. brunxy: 4 Likes |

Who is our next opponent? I heard probably Ghana. Can it be that this match is sold out? The way that first goal came is questioning. Despite the fact that they are not pushing forward, and Madagascar played well, can it be they deliberately played the way they wanted? Next oppenent and huge odd betting? Imho goroman: |

YoungAncient1: You're very 100% correct. It's better Super Eagles don't go to AFCON while we support any team we want as Nigerians. The two matches we won was by luck.We will get out of AFCON in the 16th round |

It's obvious this team cannot score goals, the attack is nothing to write home about, I wonder the tactical ability of the coach when we hungry strikers like victor Oshimen, Henry onyekuru who was the highest goal scorer in Turkish league last season 4 Likes |

Femeto:And that was from Ndidi, not even our striker. I agree with You, he should have featured a striker we haven't seen perform and he would have known his impact, if poor, he would sub. |

But I said that this couch is not it even with the first two wins and some people were mad at me. I am not surprised at the result. Unless he plays the players he is supposed to play. Samuel Chukwueze should play on the right flag from the start. Ahmed Musa should play on the left flag. Osimhen and Ighalo should play at the middle of the attacking formation. Like 3-4-4 system. Or 4-3-4. Mikel should not even play. Balogun should just go and rest. 5 Likes |

Every body is a coach in Nairaland. Football is not mathematics. I remembered vividly when I was in form two when secondary used to be secondary not this so called JSS or SSS schools. Our class beat the Almighty form five that dominated the school team then. Let take it easy with them. I remembered vividly Lybya 82 ,Nigeria went as defending champion and they didn't go beyond first round. The likes of Segun Odegbami, Christian Chukwu , Aloysius Atuegbu ,Muds Lawal ,Henry Nwosu and Patrick Okala Ookala were there. Let us take it easy . 1 Like |
