Read through the thread from behinning and i must say its been very enlightinging.. we have a perculiar case and am hoping someone has had a similar case and was able to resolve it successfully. My dad bro filed f4 for him back in 2006. We just got notification that the case has been approved and at NVC. However the Hiccup is that the date of birth the petitioner filed when filing the petition is different from my dads actual date of birth which he has on his passport and has been issued B1/B2 visa twice on it. I would appreciate input from the seniors of the house. @pretty16 @oladeep @ifunanyamaka @lindsy4real

Write NVC to inform them immediately so the date of birth can be changed. And hope what's on the passport is your dad's real date of birth? Cos your dad's Brother making mistake on his birthdate is highly unlikely as that is family. That being said, Hope the birth date on the passport is the real deal? Cos he has traveled with it on a B1 B2 Visa, make una no contradict wetin dey your dad Birth Certificate.

Did anybody in F2a category get an interview date for July? I’ve gotten case complete since February but still waiting for an interview date. It used to be just a month after case complete but now I don’t understand 5 months later and still no interview date. Have called NVC severally and they just ask me to wait.

You need to wait until your Pd becomes current it's not always because you have your case completed earlier priority date is also a factor

Yup. Was thinking I’d get my interview date a month after case complete... but this is almost 5 months later and still waiting.

As a correct wife nah I gats to go fully loaded . Mostly though just tidying up a bunch of loose ends. I'm scheduled to leave next month. Flight ticket already booked and paid for.

Hello dear! That's awesome. Welcome to the United States just in time for 4th of July . I'm doing alright. I'm scheduled to arrive in August being next month.Taking the time I have left to gather all I would need for my trip. Your POE was a walk-in in the park.
