Every coach has a weakness that's why you hire experts to help in areas they are not so good at. Amunike is still learning the rope and soon or later he will coach super eagles.
see what you are saying, you have been bashing Rhor endlessly since, but you just gave Amunike a leeway isokay

So, going to bed earlier, is now considered a hunger strike? sad

AFCON: Sober Eagles embark on hunger strike over Madagascar loss

Hours after suffering an embarrassing 2-0 loss to debutants Madagascar at the ongoing Africa Cup of Nations in Egypt, players of the Super Eagles have embarked on hunger strike to bemoan the defeat, AOIFootball.com understands

AOIFootball.com can confirm authoritatively that the loss did do more harm to the players as all 23 players failed to turn up for dinner, withdrawing to their rooms and going to bed early to quickly forget the loss.

The hotel management had informed the team’s handlers that the dinner was ready but surprisingly none of the players showed up as they were still mourning what many Nigerians described as an embarrassing loss to a country ranked outside the top 100 in the world.

The players who remain remorseful after the loss, however, want Nigerians to quickly forgive them as they promise to hit the ground running soonest ahead of the knockout stages which begin on Friday.

Nigeria finished with six points in Group B, one behind leaders Madagascar but will remain in Alexandria as they welcome either Ghana, Cameroon or the Benin Republic in the Round of 16 on Saturday.

Productive? Mahrez have a recipient of brilliant team play both at Leicester (Vardy, Kante, Drinkwater) and Man city
(Sterling, Aguero, Bernardo)

Zaha has had to carry Crystal Palace on his back

Vardy, Kante and Drinkwater were playing low league football not so long ago, even Mahrez himself. They were no galacticos. Infact the Leicester City team who won the Epl escaped relegation on the final day of the previous season.
So much for a brilliant team.

As pertaining to diving I can't remember a clear Zaha dive this past season even if he did he didn't do much as Salah

Give the man his due

If you can't remember, other spectators do. He has been punished for simulation a number of times. Infact some opposition fans sent him death threats for his theatrics last season.
You love Zaha and you don't know about his diving reputation? Maybe you havent been watching him as much as you claim after all.

I read on Twitter that the NFF is reaching out to Arsene Wenger behind closed doors grin grin

I am not surprised. Pinnick is a passionate Arsenal fan and has been in constant touch with Wenger for years now. As a matter of fact, it was Wenger that recommended Gernot Rohr(who is a good friend of Wenger's) to Pinnick.

Though I'm very skeptical about the chances that Wenger will agree to come out of retirement to coach a team in faraway Africa at his age. Most probably, Pinnick is reaching out to him for another recommendation, if that is the case, then we should expect another French coach soon.

So mahrez vardy and drinkwater where big players before Leicester won the league ? Lol

Mahrez score 22/22 Epl goals when they won the league ,put zaha in that Leicester team he won't get more than 8 goals

Zaha carrying palace on his neck as if milvojevic and wan bissaka are not doing good work also

Zaha won 10 penalties and if he took them he would have been on 18-20 goals

Mahrez on the other hand was playing for a free scoring Man city side

I am talking of mahrez of Leicester, mahrez didn't play much this season

I am talking of mahrez of an average Leicester

What makes you feel zaha will score those 10 penalties?

So many things brought down Mahrez value to 60mill

1) He was experiencing a slump in form when he was bought

2) He was at loggerheads with Leicester

3)City’s bargaining capacity brought down his price

Comparing Mahrez to Zaha is a matter of opinion

You see ,you said so many things brought down mahrez prize to 60 million ,that means e suppose pass like that

His diving reputation made the referees to overlook even the genuine ones.
Mind you , The Premier league referees will make the calls, on penalty not VAR calling back a referee to make the call, like the way FIFA is using it . So if referee doesn't award anything,VAR can't review

UEFA CHAMPIONS LEAGUE

Hope you understand what the league stands for.

Like I said, think before you make senseless comments.

U are just being hypocritical here...

The other day you were saying that Onauchu shouldn't have made the AFCON list ahead of Awoniyi because the Danish league where Onauchu plays is ranked lower than the Belgian league.. but suddenly u changed gear to UEFA competition... Nonsense!
Let Kayode hit form again before u start clamouring for his recall..And when he gets called up do well to remind him to take his chance.

I think the diving reputation is unwarranted. The guy is very tricky and his style draws fouls. People's real issue is that nobody expects a player as kicked as Zaha to do anything but hide in a game but the guy still finds a way and most times it's by winning penalties at the death.

Only one without common sense can argue that.

U are d one here without common sense...If u had any,u would have stuck with the UEFA coefficient ranking U used to argue that Onauchu shouldn't have made the afcon squad ahead of Awoniyi. the same UEFA coefficient ranking u used to argue with Thegoodjoe that Babayaro wasn't better than Taiwo .
Who cares if Kayode is playing in the champions league (as if he contributed to shaktar qualification self)?
Let him perform where he is and he will be considered!

Rohr has actually been a good man manager until the Iheanacho public criticism incident.

You are right on this count Chris. Rohr hasn't handled some of our most gifted key young players well enough of recent. From Iheanacho and now to Chukwueze and Osimhen.

I only want our Super Eagles to redeem their image (our image too) at this Afcon just because of what the Super Eagles as a brand is. Not even because of Rohr. I insist that whether we conquer Africa or not.... Rohr should just go. In the long run, he lacks the creative inventions and tactical bravery to get the very best out of our many talented and excitingly gifted youngsters.

ChrisKels:

No u re not, u rather are sticking out ur neck for Ighalo hoping he would clean up the mud he has pelted ur face with grin

With Ighalo and that amentia we call a coach, we aint got no business being in this AFCON.

U guys deluded urselves thinking Ighalo would suddenly turn a new leaf, in so doing, y'all swept under the carpet his well documented prodigalities in front of the post, it's dawn on y'all that after all, Chriskels was right to have said earlier that the bromance btwn una Iggy boy and Rohr was nothing buh a pig on lip sticks. I remember how the kids in here were weeping bitterly whenever I told them prior this tourney that Ighalo was a misfit, a certain psychopat even called me an idiot for saying that grin

People wont learn, they have started again by not calling a spade what it is, instead of criticising Rohr for his short comings, they are here once again, saying Rohr was a great man-manager but a poor coach, but, to me, he is neither a good manager nor a good coach. No Sane manager will criticise his player publicily, the way he did. We thought the one with KC was a one off, he is still treading that same path now with Chuks, Onyekuru and Osimhen. I believe u saw his response when quizzed on his decision to sideline the three youngsters.

Ighalo =useless
Rohr =useless

Hakim Ziyech (tagged Ziyach on his Afcon jersey) is a left footed AM. He is an AM who can play from the right or left also... But it doesn't make him a winger. He is just pretty adaptable.

He is an AM/CAM.

Now check yesterday game and see where he played

Don't mind Rohr. He is seeking for valid reasons to keep ignoring those wonderful triple threats (Osimhen, Chukwueze, Onyekuru).

Just hope the Super Eagles can deliver genuinely strong performances from now on to show the Continent and the world that the Madagascar loss was a big mistake inspite of what nonsese Rohr keeps trying to do by ignoring some of our heavily talented guys who would have gotten enough minutes in teams like EGYPT, Tunisia and even Cameroun had they been nationals of those nations. Even Ghana too.

Really, Rohr's days are now numbered. I just have to endure his presence for now as I focus on the Super Eagles.
