forgiveness: Boy, you lying. .. U said Iwobi is the only Nigerian player playing at a higher UEFA ranked team than Kayode (as if it matters) Villarreal are ranked ahead of Shaktar... https://www.uefa.com/memberassociations/uefarankings/club/seasonclub/ Next time check well before dropping info here.. And I repeat again, I don't care where Shaktar is ranked ..They can be European and world champions for all I care ..let Kayode play something first and he will be called up . |

iSlayer:You no dey observe something, some want him out because he dropped their favorite player, one even said its only Iheanacho that can shoot from outside the box, shot wey he no see play for the past two years, shot wey he no fit use score Man City. I've been following the eagles since late 90s/2000 not sure I've seen any coach organize defence better than this man, we beat the toughest opponent in our group without them having a sniff at our goal, una no cry but we lost a dead rubber game see as egbere full this thread. Just watch and see complete u-turn after we win our second round game. although if Rhor can't lead us to the semis, then he can go back to France but for now I won't call for his sack but support the team positively 5 Likes |

forgiveness: U just proved that u are an hypocrite.. U are saying Onauchu didn't deserve to be called up because he plays in an obscure Danish league. But u used to complain that Kayode wasn't called up when he was banging goals in the Austria league ..remind us again, what position was the Austria league the season Kayode was banging goals there ?? BTW u lied big time at the bolded... the Danish league is no 16 in Europe.. Go confirm.. 2 Likes 1 Share |

The problem is people are only calling for Rorh's sack after the loss to Madagascar. Rohr's tactical deficiency was long obvious. If we had won Madagascar unconvincingly most people won't be complaining. |

Did we look serious against Guinea? Let me excuse the Burundi game because most of the big teams started slowly. Now look at Egypt and the like, they were blazing after their first round of games. Danielnino00: |

charlesemeka85:Alaves will suit him. If its true, he should not let it pass by. His only problem is he hugs the ball so much. He only needs to master when to hold and when to pass, I think we have a gem in our hand. 3 Likes |

iSlayer: No need to be emotive. You're wrong by saying some didn't call for his sack before the AFCON. After the WC, many did and not even qualifying for AFCON changed their rhetoric. Nobody is joining any bandwagon. Its obvious that this man is t a good tactician. A bad tactician can never win tourneys. That's a damn fact. A bad tactician would still fail with a team of a world class players. Rohr is a bad tactician. Man management doesn't win games...ability to read the game and make crucial changes does. Rohr has faired badly in the most crucial aspects of coaching. Me I'm not like air Goodjoe or forgiveness and I don't know how to argue endlessly. This is my final comment on this issue. We will wait and see what he does in our next game. I hope he proves us all wrong |

Here's a summary of Rohr's tactical plan for all our group matches so far: 1. When the team gains possession in midfield, send the ball back to the centre backs immediately. Don't bother about trying to find the forwards, send the ball to the back first. 2. The two CB's pass the ball amongst themselves until they run out of ideas and make an innacurate long pass that ends up either in the sidelines or in the opponent's possession. 3. No pressing for the ball in the opponent's goal area. Whenever the opponent decides to play from the back, he must be allowed to pass his way into our own half unhindered. 4. Don't ever try to build possession in midfield. Just give the fuvking back pass! 5. Nothing else. 14 Likes 3 Shares |

jihday: Yeah I do see people making flimsy excuses for Iheanacho.. They talk about how only Nacho can shoot from outside the box and take freekicks bla bla bla. I just laugh really. I can't say for sure that they're normal lol. I mean no offence please. 1 Like |

With my almost zero knowledge and experience of football tactics (aside PES football manager mode games), I am 100% sure I will do far better than that idiotic white Onigbinde. Gernot Rohr is a shame. 1 Like |

Is it true that if we win the round of 16 game against Ghana or Benin, we could play Egypt in quarter final? Someone do the calculations. Its back to our CALCULATORS to do PERMUTATIONS. We used calculators for U20 Eagles then Falcons and now Papa eagles. Na wa ooo |

forgiveness:This one striker thing isn't helpful Left for me I'd say he retires Mikel and Musa to the bench Musa off the ball activity is zero, his miss still hurts me than that balogun error. That ball I know onyekuru would have hit it on goal than wanting to round a keeper whose position makes it impossible to. From now onwards I believe the 3-5-2 system would be effective from the knockout. A system that can be changed into a 4-3-3 later or 3-4-3 as the case maybe. Moving forward I wish the eagles best of luck moving forward. Still trying to heal from the humility the Malagasy gave us. |

Abeg even if we won get foreign coach, make we go for better one. Cameroon, South Africa, Morocco, Egypt went for class and not amateurs. Senegal went for the best in the country. Haba Naija. When we go learn na. |

solonnachi:. Rohr is not an Amateur though, the man just refused to learn from his past and present mistakes as a coach. He's to unidirectional and rigid. He's just like arsene Wenger. He's tactics is only what he believes in. whether he wins or loses , he will always stick to it |

solonnachi:Yes if we advance the round of 16, we may have a possible matchup against the host.....That defeat really didn't help our course in the tournament. Again there's a likely Senegal vs Morocco quarter pairing
