Two Peoples Democratic Party caucus members, Mr Kingsley Chinda and Ndidi Elumelu have emerged factional Minority Leaders of the House of Representatives.

The factional leaders emerged after a rowdy session in the green chamber.

The Speaker, Mr Femi Gbajabiamila had told the House, he received a letter from opposition members and wanted to read it, when a member of the Peoples Democratic Party, Mr Kingsley Chinda, raised a point of order but the Speaker ruled him out of order.

Plenary turned rowdy thereafter, forcing Gbajabiamila to adjourn.

Several PDP lawmakers protested against the planned announcement contained in the letter.

PDP thinks they are the only one that has says I minority not knowing that several political parties formed Minority in the house.

The ambitious ones in PDP aligned with other political parties to get more signatures presented to the speaker

What is the procedure for minority to emerge? PDP and other minorities parties in the house should conduct election within themselves.

We accept them as Igbos both in good and bad (especially the Delta ones) but your hypocrisy is what is shameful. You only call them Igbos when its a bad news and call them Niger Deltans when it is good news.

The PDP should sanction the two erring lawmakers. Elumelu and Chinda are notorious for thuggery and negative news. They should not smell the office.
