Hello everyone,

Just a quick on, anyone has an idea of how I can get a partition or room in Dubai for just a week for blacks, my fiancee is coming to see me in August and she will be staying for a week, she will be booking and presenting her passport as ID because Most hotels require physical copy of international passport for both parties (you know the case with most of our ababs here) tho ibhave thevl soft copy of my passport and my Nigerian national id, I stay in ajman but will be coming into dubai once she arrives by mid August.

Anyone with useful info should please mention me.

Regards.

A valid Emirates id will suffice.

I pray you won't regret ever making such a move, I will advise you to learn further in your fashion designing i.e learn how to make native wears, either for Male or female. Use the money you intend to travel to Dubai to open a classy shop and make your cool cash.
Nigeria is not as bad at it seems on paper if you have skills or handwork. If you insist on leaving Nigeria, Migrate legally to America or Europe.

OK bro
Thanks

you have a good skill, I will advice you to use the money which you want to use to come try luck in Dubai to expand your business. I'm in Dubai and I know the current situation, you might come and be lucky enough to get a job but it might not be in the field you want. If you have made up your mind, then you're most welcome but be ready to face the unforseen circumstances.

Cheers

Thanks sir

Good day people, so my friend is Dubai working in an hotel earning 140k monthly and he met this agent that helped his friend to get an hotel job of 140k, the friend did not drop any money, the agent paid everything with an agreement that the guy will pay 1.2m back(60k monthly).

All though, dude advised me not to use this agent as the 1.2m is too much but man got no option at the moment and I've been thinking of giving it a try.

Do you guys think its a welcome idea?

My people in Dubai, is it easy doing hotel job like cleaning, shisha refiller etc.

I need serious advice, I don't wanna make a life time mistake.
thank

almost all of the hotels wont bother asking you for your passport once you provide your ID. You can use Airbnb for good deals and there are many affordable hotel apartments too.

You can apply for as many jobs as you can anywhere online and not just mourjan. Don't just make the mistake of using cleaning CV to apply for a waiter job.
600k should be enough.[/

Do the Maths:

#1,200,000/#60,000 = 20months.

That's about 2years in debt!

Pls do not entangle yourself in such modern day slavery.

Also, for ur friend to have advised you don't take the offer, then something is wrong with the offer.

If you’re a uae resident you don’t have to return to Nigeria to apply however if you’re a menial worker you might have to return home because you won’t have your passport with you. Secondly, your occupation depends on whether Canada visa is easy or not. Salary of 10k aed above gives you an edge

Kindly help me with the right information regarding a similar problem you experienced in the past...when you were getting an error message of "your group size is larger than the current allocation" after approval of emergency request for US visa appointment. I have complained and I was told they are working on it for more than a week now even when the grace period to reschedule an appointment had passed. How did you solve the problem?
Please treat as urgent. Thank you.

In my opinion, I think its best we stop advising all these prospects not to come to UAE. I see most of them now sees us as E.P! If you want to come to UAE please, get your visa, pack your bags, buy your ticket, and enter plane. Biko, I just have one thing to beg, don't come here and add to the numbers of "street urchins" we have here already that has made it practically impossible for the name "Nigeria" to sound right in the ear of any foreigner here! Abeg e don do sef, them they beg Una make Una no come here suffer, Una think say na bad them dey do Una. If you have money to do business, come, buy goods and go. Do that over and over till you build better statement of account and travel his, then migrate to another country. Leave UAE if you're coming here to hustle without a professional certificate. Biko nu, dododo, I dey beg.

The best way to support your advice is for those who say UAE is hard, they are suffering in UAE, Nigeria is better than UAE, etc. to pack and return to Nigeria. Then, you won't have to keep saying it, everyone will believe.

Your hustle is different from another. If it doesn't work for one person doesn't mean it won't work for another. Allow everyone experience it and decide for themselves. There is no minsing words when it comes to the current hardship in Nigeria. And many have tried to point y'all to the situation of things in Nigeria if it's been long you left Naija.

More than 85% of people making the move don't have any job in Nigeria. They're either being sponsored or using their life's savings. Another 10% probably have jobs with very low pay, say less than N50k per month. 3% are possibly undecided or those who just wanna leave Naija by all means or probably just excited about going abroad. And the 2%? Obviously professionals who can compete favorably in UAE; some, like most of my friends, may have even already gotten a job in the UAE before leaving Naija.

If someone had told you not to go when you did yours, would you have listened?

Hypothetically, life in UAE is tough; You're better off investing the money you wanna waste for visa in Nigeria; A N100k job in Nigeria is better than N150k job in UAE; etc. Then, could y'all just return to Nigeria and invest what you've saved so far or get yourself that N100k job? At least to prove your claims or heed to your own advices.

We are Nigerians! We are survivors!! Across the globe, Nigerians have strived, thrived and survived. Even in the America, Europe, Asia, etc., it's not all rosy for Nigerians. Few or even some still struggle.

Truth be told, I only read your first paragraph, and need not say more. Please stop asking us salary of this, salary of that, how possible is it to get this, and how possible is it to get that job. The truth still remains that nobody, I repeat, nobody will ever give you a comprehensive answer to that. Read from page one to where we are now, you'll read people asking same questions repeatedly and still get the same answer. Bro, I've seen situation here, were some that came into UAE and under 10 days lands a job! And some getting to 6months now without job, thereby staying illegally and accumulating overstay charges. Some have gone for visa change over and over and over still no job, some fall into the hands of dubious al-babs who promise them jobs and end up not doing visa for them, nor pay them. The rate of scam here by our fellow country men is alarming. In fact if I begin type everything here, e no go contain. Therefore, if Una still one come without proper preparation, don't be my guest! Just don't add to bad name we have here already, just come try luck, if your visa kalas, abeg waka! No go begin sell drink o. CID now don dey disguise as customers sef. Diera (Dubai)and Al-karama (Ajman)Na bad news o. Make I just stop here now.
