most states have statutes of limitation on rape, besides it's complicated in Nigeria. At the time of the alleged rape, Age of sexual consent in Nigeria was 11, it was only changed to 18 in 2015. 2ndly, there is no physical evidence. It's not like she reported to Police at that time and they took a statement, she didnt go to hospital for a rape examination... There are no evidences for a criminal rape trial so she can't win in any court. So it's pointless. she can only warn others of the serial sexual predator the man is. She can also tarnish his image. The onus is now on him to finish her and make her an example if she were lying. That N1b in damages if the man is truly innocent.
