Please I need your help. My Implanon will be due for removal by Thursday. I went to the clinic today, was told to go for a scan because they couldn't palpate the rod, as in they can't find it in my upper arm. I was recommended for an upper arm scan. Went there and was told to do a tissue scan, no and behold, the scenographer still could not find it, was asked to go for X-ray, yet nothing was found. Couldn't get answers because nurse in charge had closed when I got back.

Please are there side effects if the implant stays more than expected?

What could be the reason for the missing rod?

Please help my kpekus ministry to yield fruit.

I cleaned mouth from like a week or so.
Cotton wool and water.
I don't use toothpaste till they are way past one year.

my baby is ayr nd a month old,I di apply a very little quantity to his brush when I want to clean his mouth.

He is 2 weeks old. I am exclusive breast feeding for now. I will do as u have said. Take lots of fluid fruits and vegetables.

At 2 weeks they don't really know how to poo yet hence the faces and difficulty. He'll soon master the art.

Abi when the poo comes out doesn't it look like cooked egusi?

Hello mums..pls i need help.

For mums that take their baby to creche or leave at home with nanny..

What food to do you pack for your baby...mine is 8months..i do just cereal, pap, boiled egg, smoothie...i feel its not enough.

Once i get back home she refuses every food and wants just breast milk and it saddens me cuz i feel she isnt eating well..

So help me, what can i prepare and keep down for her to eat during the day asides the above mentioned..

Is there any alternative to lactose free milk and soy based milk that can be prepared locally for a 3 month old baby to take? please someone should assist asap. Thank You.

@Agbgift please if you giving your baby formula kindly give him water to help reduce constipation. It happen to my baby too. I gave her water since the breast milk was not flowing well and i cant leave my baby hungry. I gave her water and the strong poo stopped. I do give her breast and formula now. Her poo was yellow and strong and she didn't poo for a day and half and i was worried. Whenever she tried to poo she ends up crying and nothing was coming out because it was strong for her. I Google and oga google said i should use vaseline. I took one cotton bod insert inside vaseline and put inside her anus not deep ooo just at the entrance and moved it in circular motion and see your baby will try to push the poo out.

Also take lots of water as it helps your baby's poo. I don't give her water often so her poo is like eguisi now or sometimes paste. Its not hard anymore as my breast milk flow is better than before.

My dear, all is well. After series of soft tissue scan and X-ray, it was concluded to be a "Resorbed Implant". The gynaecologist said the presence of the rod poses no threat, once it expires, it won't be effective and everything will go back to normal.

At 6 weeks she was 3.9kg (slow weight gain)
At 10weeks she was 4kg.

Now my concern is she eat a whole lot and she's on aptamil too..

Why is she not gaining weight please? Even her big sis who weighed less at birth, weighed more than her at 10weeks.

You can use freshly made yoghurt to mix your baby cereal, that's was what I did when my baby rejected the formula and he's good with it.

Each child grows at different intervals..
If your baby is not growing well, they will have pointed it out at the hospital..

Are you a big person or is your hubby big?

Even at that please let the child eat and grow at her pace..

Is there Dano milk for babies?
You can mix your breastmilk to the pap, also add grounded very dry catfish, crayfish can be salty.
