Trapped in their own world of horror, a living nightmare for them , tailored by their brain to play on their deepest fears....,they cowered to the floor, their hands wringing and legs shaking....
Adrenaline flooding every part of their body, they hid behind the wall, Terror sucked the very breath from their mouth as they heard the guards Loud footsteps on the other side of the wall.., Both girls whimpered and their legs collapsed underneath them.,Adesa put her hand over her mouth to stifle the scream that was fighting hard to burst out..

The footsteps stopped and their heart race, they could no longer control their hands; they were shaking in an odd trembling rhythm..,they fear the guards suspect they were on the other side of the wall..

Heart throbbing, threatening to tear her chest open, Katherine manage to breathe and lean her ears to the wall, pulse pounding and body trembling , she waited for them to talk, to say something but no words came and it added more salt to her fears..
They would have escaped if the guards they saw hasn't made them take this route, there is no escaping from the palace with the route they've taken..,they're stalked and she fear the moment the guards lay eyes on them, it'll be over..

She isn't going to allow that, she refused to be used as a sex slave to that monster..
She withdrew her ears and fused her gaze on Adesa, they need to move, hiding will make it worse and she fear king Jafar might hurt Adesa than he has done her..
Their heart froze when they heard a voice, a guard's voice from the other side of the wall..

"They're leaving.. "Adesa whispered..

Breathing heavily, Katherine join her fingers with Adesa and manage to give her a nod..

Francis heart raced, flooded with added adrenaline as their leader halt them to a stop...,he look around, there was no sign of her, why where they stopping.., he took a moment to breathe wondering where Katherine might have ran off to..

"We need to divide ourselves into three groups.. "The leader said.

Francis heart froze, why three groups, what if one group finds her before he does..

"All of you here.. "The leaders authoritative voice cut into his thoughts.. "Go that way.. "He pointed at his right hand side..
"All of you in the middle.. "He continued.. "Go that way, the rest of you follow me.. "

Francis wisp out a silent hiss at the category he fell into, why must he be among the ones to go left, going left has never brought anything positive.., without a second thought, he trot out of his line but he wasn't fast enough..

"Are you deaf.. "The leader's voice resounded making Francis heart pound...
"Follow them.. "He added

Francis suck his teeth, he hesitated before he followed the guards going to his left..
Francis prays his group finds her first, he wonder what he'll do if it turns out another group finds her before he does, his mind brood over the leader's instructions making him ball his fingers in his palm.., no matter what he have to do, he has to rescue her, he must rescue her, damn the consequences...

Vuga quickly retrace his steps and hid in a corner, he knew quite well hiding there was a total waste of time, the guards will spot him out the moment they draw closer to him..
He dragged in breathe regretting why he concurred to Francis plan, he should have stick to his, wait in the bush and lay an ambush on them..
He heard the bell and he still wonder who it was for, wonder what has round up the guards, who were they searching for...
Fear strucked him when the footsteps drew closer but he didn't allow it takeover him, not thinking straight he arranged his metal helmet in his head, balled his fingers into a fist and step out from his hiding place coming face to face with the guards..

His bold move made the guards in front pull out their swords and his heart hammered but he stood still as possible ...
For a moment, they just stood staring at each other as if their eyes can see through their metal helmets...

Terror washed over Vuga, his mind screams at him to run but he knows it was too late, running will only complicate things, the silence and the dreadness of the night was killiing him, he wanted to speak up when one of the guards jumped in..

"What are you doing here all by yourself.. "

They didn't recognize him, that was a relief, the metal helmet and the guard's clothes has really helped, the only good thing Francis came up with...
Vuga gritted, his head moulding up a believable excuse...

"There they are.. "A guard shouted from behind making the rest spun round...

"The princess.. "Another shouted..

Vuga's heart skipped and he quickly push the guard in front of him aside, he didn't see her but he saw a glimpse of someone running towards another direction....

"Get her.. "Another shouted and they began the chase without a second thought..

Heart throbbing, Vuga joined them in the chase...

Their heart throbbed in their ears, loud and irregular, but they barely heard it, for their mind was clouded with fear....,adrenaline flooding every part of their body, both girls ran as fast as their legs can carry them, they didn't care where they were running to, all they want is to escape from the guards pursuing them...

They weren't fast, the guards were closing in, they could hear their thunderous footsteps, right there they realise it was over, they've been caught.., Katherine wanted to stop but her mind keeps screaming at her to continue, she listen and increase her pace but it was no use, guards ran into them from the direction they were heading to, they finally stopped and stare at both sides of the corridor..,they were surrounded on both sides...

A feeling of dread crept out from the pit of Katherine stomach, her legs collapsed making her body lower.., she took her time to breathe.....

Francis eyes widened when he saw her, it was her, even in the blackness of the night, he can recognize her, he can't forget her pretty face...

Heart racing, Vuga look widely at his sister and Adesa, he was inclined to make a move but he knows it will be stupid of him to do that, it will jeopardize everything...

"Seize her.. "A guard ordered

Four guards quickly approached them and grab them, both girls tried to fight but it was no use..

Nostrils flaring, Francis clenched his fist, anger devouring him, he move his feet about to pounce on the guards holding her but a hand hold his shoulder..
He didn't bother looking back to see who dared to touch him, he was about to forge ahead when the person's grip tightened in his shoulder...

"Do not think about it.. "The person whispered in his ears..

Anger flashed once more in Francis eyes pushing him to punch the person holding him on the face, but he didn't, instead he watched as both girls were dragged away by the guards..

"You naughty girl.. "King Jafar scowled, his hands griply on her neck, tightening her throat..

Katherine gasped for breathe but it was difficult to breathe..

"Leave her alone.. "Adesa hauled out a high pitched scream..

Infuriated, King Jafar let go of Katherine throat and she collapsed to the floor, he turn his angry gaze to Adesa..
"You.. "He retorted and the guards hold Adesa hands ...

"You're evil.. "Adesa barked

Rage swimming inside him, he slapped her face hard.... "You little rat.. "He hollered grabbing her throat..

Adesa wince and pants for breathe, she grimace in pains when he finally release her...

"Take her away and rape her as much as you can.. "

The words sent Adesa shivering that she didn't notice when the guards began to drag her away.., head spinning, she screamed.. "I hate you.. "

"Who are you..? Francis queried shoving a sword to his throat after pushing him to a corner..

"Come-on.. "He said.. "Do you think I'll stop you from going to kill yourself if i don't know you.. "

"Who are you..? Francis hollered..

Irritation sliced through Francis, he edge further, the sword a finger distance from his throat, he isn't joking, he won't mind cutting off the throat of the person who stopped him from saving the one he loves... "Who are you.. "He boom out..

He exhales, push the sword away and remove his metal helmet...

Francis blink, the firelamp hung on the hole on the wall was shinning enough to recognize the face of the person who betrayed him before...., still not able to believe his eyes, he muttered.. "Zed.. "

He can't run away after coming this far to rescue her, he's still sticking to his plans, rescue Katherine and get the hell out.. "Am not going anywhere.. "He riposte dropping the sword to his side... "I came here to rescue her and i don't intend leaving until i do that.. "

"You cannot rescue her.. "Zed pause to take a breathe.. "It's too dangerous.. "

"It's my decision to make, not yours.. "Francis retorted

"It isn't my decision but as a friend am telling you is not the right call.. "

"We're not friends.. "He scowled..

He gritted glancing at both sides of where they were, when he saw no-one, he reverted his gaze to him.. "You'll be dead the second king Jafar sees you.. "

"I don't care.. "He took a step backward.. "I will die trying.. "

"You haven't change.., you still think foolishly as you always have, do you really think you can go in there and rescue her on your own.. "

Francis sigh, a part of him knows very well Zed was right but his stubborn part doesn't agree with it, he needs to rescue her, only God know how he'll feel if it turns out the bastard hurt her, he won't forgive himself for leaving her, for seeing her and not able to save her...

With a broad smile across his face, the guard lour down to meet her gaze..

Two guards quickly grab her, lay her on the grass and hold her hands making her scream, her scream was useless, it only amuse them, no one is coming to save her even if she scream out the world..

The one touching her drew closer, just when he was about touching her again, he heard footsteps, then a loud thud followed and a blade pierced into his back..
Before the others realise what was going on, their turn came, the sharp edge of the sword fiercely cutting through their throat in a flash..

She collapse even before knowing who her savior is, but he caught her before she could reach the floor..
Her eyes reopen and she was about to scream when he close her mouth with his palm..

"Adesa, it's me.. "

She blink, it can't be him, she must be dreaming, she close her eyes again and reopen them, she didn't fight when he lifted her on his shoulder..
"Vuga.. "She muttered as he carried her away.., she prayed for a helper and her hero in shinning armour came...
