The way some of you armchair football critics moan on this thread is quite annoying.

Why is it so hard for you people to support the team irrespective of whoever starts?

You are not the manager. He sees these players during training and he only knows the best players for tactics and strategies.

Y'all should quit the whining angry angry angry

Tell me, how much will you support Baca to win a tournament, if or when the coach stubbornly benches Messi?

Baba, let me tell you the fact. These same people will castigate Osihmen, Chukwueze and Onyekuru if they start and fail to live up to expectations.

Look at that starting 11, does it have bite enough?

You always need at least that one player that is tricky and can cause trouble for the defence line up of the opponent. That's exactly the cutting edge we lack that this coach consistently puts on the bench.

I hardly comment here. And I'm a die hard supporter of Rohr and the super eagles, but right now, this coach is making us look average in the eyes of our opponents. They don't fear us any more .

Chucks can take up any defence, why not bench Musa and try him? Why not take the risk to try both him and the tormentor in chief — Onyekuru — on both wings?

Is that too hard to try out

Is that too hard to do??

he is the coach and should have the final say on this kinda things, we all have our preferred lineups, so is the coach...na him know tactics wey he won run.....I mean this guy did not start this kinda football today na, so it's really not a new sturvs...infact I'm not interested in him starting something he hasn't started before in a "final" like this...no time for audition rara , no time for play play....

Bro, in as much as am not fully sold out on Rohr, I still feel this is not a time to experiment. He should have done that in Madagascar game. Now is time to go with the tested and trusted 11. If it doesn't work, he can still bring in Chukwueze and Onyekuru in second half. I like the Line-up. It will be a tight game. My only regret is Jamilu Collins not making the squad so that Aina can revert to right back

I just pity Onyekuru and Chukwueze.

We may win this match but it won't be pretty. It will be pure and undiluted jam body boring football for 90 minutes.

I wonder why people here are moaning this lineup isn't a bad one na. What if rohr started Mikel and ogu and benched iwobi. If we win now those same people will be saying that rohr got his tactics right.

Again, I will not start Osihmen nor Onyekuru due to team synergy. But I will bring them in later. I would start Samu though

Line up is out. Nothing can happen now. Time to throw our weight behind the team. No need feeling bad now.

Our fullbacks should be more adventurous especially that RB.

My dissatisfaction with the lineup not withstanding, I have no doubt that the players will put in a good fight today. .They know what's at stake...
Cameroon will be tough... they are always tough but we know how to beat them....

We got this!!

Team News:

No Chukwueze
No Osimhen
No Onyekuru
No Onuachu in the first XI

Rohr plans to start with a similar team to the team that won Cameroon the last time

Because I personally thought he was a great coach. But time has exposed him. That was how he benched Ebueyi at the Word Cup. A player that torn Argentina to threads during our friendly.

He's been getting the result, yes! That's not enough. We suppose dey dominate Africa with the abundant talent at our hands.

That South Africa coach, or Renard, if they had the talent Rohr has, they will be champions of Africa back to back to back.

Not even forgetting the ones that are yet to join the train.

Renard has a better squad than Rohr

He's not a traditional right back

Asking him to attack would be too much

Well, the team can still take the shape of a 3-5-2 with the same players

Ekong-Omeruo-Awaziem
Aina-Simon (WBs)
Musa-Ighalo (FW)

Hopefully no mistakes on our sides today. I really would have preferred Either of Osimhen or Paul because of the height

Wicked idea! It could work, considering the monstrous work rate of Simon & the seeming bravery to run up and down the flank

Rohr could do that later into the game sha

Rohr is very rigid , he doesn’t tinker with is line up ... for any reason don’t expect any change of thy nature , if their is no injury , I can tell you that who will come in next is Onuachu , chukwueze and nothing more

AITEO boss Mr Benedict Peters is in town to watch the Super Eagles vs Cameroon and he has promised $25,000 per goal, urging the team to repeat the feat of Uyo and get $100,000 after the game. #SoarSuperEagles #Team9jaStrong #TotalAFCON2019
