Awaziem should be adventurous?
We for just play Simon as RB and put Chukwueze ahead of him

My brother you just solved the mystery. Simon will fit into the RB role like a glove. Good defensive awareness and decent pace and skill to bomb forward. This is the very best idea to solve our RB crisis.

But unfortunately, we have a dumb old fool for a coach so....

Bro, in as much as am not fully sold out on Rohr, I still feel this is not a time to experiment. He should have done that in Madagascar game. Now is time to go with the tested and trusted 11. If it doesn't work, he can still bring in Chukwueze and Onyekuru in second half. I like the Line-up. It will be a tight game. My only regret is Jamilu Collins not making the squad so that Aina can revert to right back

What of we are already down by two goals then?

The first team to score in this match wins.

If Cameroon scores first, then SE should forget it.

Rohr is very rigid , he doesn’t tinker with is line up ... for any reason don’t expect any change of thy nature , if their is no injury , I can tell you that who will come in next is Onuachu , chukwueze and nothing more
"...later in the game "

if sense prevails, Awaziem could go out for Chukwueze & Simon could move to RB. Ighalo for Onuachu( I'd prefer Osimhen)

Alas, time shall tell

Who's more deserving of blows, the "online news platform" or you that posted it? No sniff at goal for Onyekuru & Osimhen that didn't play the match?

Yea, I wondered at that portion of the news too.

Maybe the writer intended to say that Onyekuru and Osimhen should have been given a chance to play

Gernot rohr stubborn sha

So he knows how to bench balogun ? Forget the blunder against Madagascar ,balogun has done well in this tournament

Now the issue is if gernot rohr can bench balogun why can't he bench others ?

Anyway up eagles

I have given very serious thought to this lineup and I feel it might not be a bad idea.

Ighalo for Osimhen

Musa for onyekuru

Moses for iwobi

Looking at it closely, that might have been the intention but its not easy to be discerned by someone(like me) that's been served pessimistic diet all this month

win or lose, rohr should pack his load and go, never saw a SE coach who lacks confidence in himself by saying he is scared of individual errors from his players. Not even the late Amodu or Keshi will spew such rubbish.

The current SE team in both the last world cup and current afcon do not believe in themselves enough cos of the kind of coach who also lacks self confidence in any proper tournament, is he a coach just for qualifiers?

The Eagles can play like brazil today for all I care, Rohr should just go!

Goodluck to the SE today but me thinks the Cameroonians would need the luck today, i dont even know one Cameroonian player that give me the creeps undecided ok, onana, but that one is a keeper now, and he is no De Gea....

If we are an average team, then this Cameroon team is averager ..forget we go beat this ones....

If they play as a team, they will be more dangerous that way.

With all our young stars, how has the SE been productive?

We are on the same page.

Bad coaching has cost us too much. Whether you agree or not, that is the truth.

Although it is in the past now but I expected rohr to sub in Onyekuru and Chukwueze after we conceded the 2nd goal against Madagascar

So, with all our young stars, we have been playing badly because we have a poor coach

The problem is not Cameroon but our team, no team has been that fantastic in this afcon, even teams like Egypt and Senegal have just been scraping thru.

Our coach is killing the self belief in this team and it shows in their play

Well, the team can still take the shape of a 3-5-2 with the same players

Ekong-Omeruo-Awaziem
Aina-Simon (WBs)
Musa-Ighalo (FW)

Hopefully no mistakes on our sides today. I really would have preferred Either of Osimhen or Paul because of the height
My thoughts exactly.

See, I want Super Eagles to prove me wrong today.

I want them to make me change my views about them. Not by their performance in this match alone but in subsequent matches.
