Landed in Orlando and was on the queue for the border checks for 2hrs 15mins (At this time I was almost giving up on visiting America again as i was with a toddler that is super tired from a delayed 9hrs 30mins flight.

Got to the border officer after the long wait, was asked how many days we will be spending and if we came with food items which we said no.

we got stamped in for 6months, we spent 10days in America and back to base now. I miss the space in America, Britain is so squashed


Did I mentioned Orlando was fun, Walt Disney world was it for my toddler but holy land was the icing on the cake for me.

You stand a good chance if all you have said about your travel history and job are true. I'll just add that you book hotel stay and you don't need any invitation whatsoever. You don't have to know anyone in the US to go there on vacation.

Love HOLY LAND EXPERIENCE. When i visited with my family about 4 years ago. We visited Walt Disney World, Universal Studios, Gator Land, Orlando Eye, Holy Land Experience,Orlando Museum of Arts and Science,Madame Tussad etc.Men we blow cash then oh!! But thank God the exchange rate was about 162 naira to a dollar then. I love Orlando,Florida

instead of you to renew your visa when you come back first before coming to name some people perfectionists. well, unless you are not coming back too sha. seyewest actually told you you can use the visa but renewal is what is not guaranteed. Well, pls let us know when you get your visa renewed.

Landed in Hartsfield ATL. All i was asked " why is your family still in the states" and i responded " We are battling with marital issues" she wanted some time away. I had an onward ticket,hotel reservation for Canada though. I just pack everything put for the guy desk and left him to go through them. I am not saying i am not in the wrong but some people on this thread can make Otedola feel like their house boy sha.

racism....seriously? well few of my hommies did Singapore, Thailand, Hong Kong, and Malaysia last summer, got good feedbacks from them.i managed to convince a few of my guys here to try any of the above countries since visiting america these summer is now on a long thin for most of them. For me I hope to do Singapore + Malaysia b4 2019 comes to a close.
I also think the general advice of (taking time off) from the U. S embassy might be yielding some small result as alot of intending applicants around me has kind of taken a chill pill for now instead of the usual try your luck mentality thereby wasting scarce fund

Getting USA visa shouldn’t be a desperate attempt there are other making sense English speaking to visit for holidays.

i completely agree with on lots of Europe and asian countries one can visit for holidays aside the U. S intact even African countries too hopefully these small boycott/shunning will rise hopefully some of our people will erase the desperation mentality.my advice to intending applicants is that if you don't have good/ genuine or urgent need to visit the united states, please leave their embassy alone

"I was denied visa when I was very little" If this is the only reason you think you are denied then, write it! Or if you can figure any other reasons behind ur denial just state it too. VO just want to hear ur own side of the last interview (maybe what you couldn't get to explain during the interview, or if there is anything you got wrong then or anything positive you are trying to explain then but was not considered by the consular).
