I really don’t understand what’s happening. It’s like some of my grades were dropped a grade lower than what it should be, cos I noted my tma and exam scores. How do I complain about this? 1 Like |

This school is a nonsense school! Courses that were incomplete last semester are now showing as Fail. What's the meaning of all these?? I'm supposed to graduate this semester, but with these Fs now my CGP cannot graduate. 1 Like |

I enrolled for PGD at National Open University of Nigeria because I thought it was flexible and transparent, but now I regret it. They have wasted my time and over 190k that I have spent on the program. I had a similar issue with yours in myself first semester, I wanted to stop then but I continued with the hope that if I work hard and get As in this last semester my CGP would be fine. Now I worked hard and got the As, but the school went ahead and changed courses that were previously showing as Incomplete results to Fs. Now I cannot graduate because NOUN policy is that students must have at least 3.0 CGPA before they can graduate. I wish I had someone to tell me how terrible this school is before I enrolled. |

babs4090: This is my experience below and that of several of my colleagues that we started together. The problem is people don't speak up, but I'm speaking now because I wish someone else spoke up before now, maybe I would have seen their experience and made a wise decision. Or at least I would have been able to say I was warned. I enrolled for PGD at National Open University of Nigeria because I thought it was flexible and transparent, but now I regret it. funny thing is, I've seen people committing suicide at other uni but not Noun. the kind of results this school is chunk piling on a semester basis can send someone into severe depression. the current VC and the useless President buhari is the worst thing that has happened to Noun, as for me, i can't continue with this bullshyte type of result. nonsense & ingredients |

I think u are just a Lazy student whom make silly excuses unnecessarily. For your information NOUN does not give cheap Certificate, you must read hard to graduate. It is very funny some of you guys perception against the university. Oga you may wish to drop ur studies if can't endure the difficulties |
Re: National Open University Of Nigeria (NOUN) Students by emmadeking(m): 6:17pm On Jul 09, 2019 |
faisalcan: Bro, calm down Its not always about being lazy to study. Some have valid complaints; some results are unbelievable and unexplainable, though it happens even in conventional universities. To those that their spirits are down, DON'T GIVE UP. ITS A FIGHT TO FINISH The resources, time and energy you've invested thus far can't be a waste. 1 Like |

emmadeking:It only applies to undergraduate not post graduate |
Re: National Open University Of Nigeria (NOUN) Students by agriclyf: 7:32pm On Jul 09, 2019 |
thaddeus12: I wish your response was true, but that's not the case at NOUN. Every grade determines ones CGPA. Why do you think many post graduate students can't graduate?? They have passed all their courses but can't graduate because Fs have reduced their CGP below 3.0. What makes this so painful is that I didn't even fail these courses. They were NE last semester but this semester they've graded them as F. Can you imagine that? After I already struggled to have many As to avoid CGP issues |

Re: National Open University Of Nigeria (NOUN) Students by Enskynelson(m): 9:08pm On Jul 09, 2019 |
agriclyf: NE= No Exams NT= No TMA You should have made complaint through your study Centre with proof that you sat for the exams instead of just waiting. |
Re: National Open University Of Nigeria (NOUN) Students by Enskynelson(m): 9:16pm On Jul 09, 2019 |
babs4090:It is minimum of 34 TCE required for graduation and not 30. Secondly, you don't have to pay 18k semester registration fees as you no longer have any course to register for this semester. The defense is for a course already registered earlier. Success! |

Re: National Open University Of Nigeria (NOUN) Students by Enskynelson(m): 9:22pm On Jul 09, 2019 |
Henrymas:.check if it is NE or NT. NE= No exams and NT= No TMA. After that, take the necessary steps to make official complain through your Director with evidence. |
Re: National Open University Of Nigeria (NOUN) Students by thaddeus12(m): 9:25pm On Jul 09, 2019 |
agriclyf: What i mean is that when u pass those courses it wil be fix back to u instead of dividing it unlike in undergraduate course where F affects cgpa |
