I made that mistake when FBNH was selling below 3 naira and i refused to average down enough (stopped when my average CP of FBNH was 7 naira from 10) and was busy building a "usesless" rental property because i gave up on NSE and was shocked when FBNH rose to 15 naira. Imagine if i had used the money for the house to average down enough on FBNH, the profit would have been massive. I learnt a very terrible lesson then and i have vowed never to repeat such a mistake by writing such experience down in my trading journal.
This is the more reason i am so happy now that, the same opportunity is presenting itself again.

Anyone who understands how ANY market work knows for sure that the current dip is prices is intrinsic in the behaviour of the exchange (interplay of demand and supply). Yes boss, with this dividend yield i am seeing i have decided to keep averaging down ooo. Worse of it all, i have determined to work overtime if i get the strength for 6 months straight hopefully as against my usual rotation of 6 weeks on/3 weeks off in order to be able to get fund to average down. Good option, you can add Access and Fidelity too.

The question would be if only I waited till N15 to pull out. But lessons have been learnt.

Ok, wow u bought at good entry price. I still cant forgive myself for that misplaced priority of mine that year. You guys hit it big with those loot that year especially with dangflour and co. I missed great opportunity then. Anyway, the best time is NOW to take adavantage of this blood.

Sir 333, how much volume can you get or bailed out with those penny stocks. I remembered how i struggled to sell my FCMB early this year when the whole bids is not even up to half of my FCMB holdings then. I learnt a bitter lesson not to be too heavy on those penny stocks as bailing out may be difficult without depressing the price to almost 10% loss for the day.

What a day.. and it’s just 9 July December-January still far..

My boss, i learnt this strategy from you oo, if the thing no poo, it must vomit. A book i read recently used the same strategy as 1 of the secrets of the wealthy.

Same I thought as well ..Uba was 3 that time if one had keyed it massively then you can imagine ..But it takes boldness o ..if you are not strong with the way the stocks dey go down couple with this Naija negative news here and there u go wan bail at a point

Ok sir, the further studies will be well appreciated oo. Though i made around 40% gain on the FCMB when i sold early this year but it was not easy bailing out as i kept selling them in tranches.

That is why you should wait for dividends and be relaxed. When prices go out of high range (unusual), you will just handover to them.

If you are fat, start small small begin the journey at the right time. So that before event go start, you will be there. When event wan close, you start small small begin go house so that people no go use rush kill you for gate.

Entry is key.

That is why to be on the safe side, just ask yourself, " what dividend yield will make me comfortable?". If that price gives you the "desired" dividend yield, buy at the price and below. You could even try and discount WHT from it to give you a lower entry price.

But in all, the aim is to keep collecting from the market whether it is good or bad
