Just had the smoothest POE experience. I wasn't asked any questions or whatsoever just directed to a counter where the lady requested my passport and excused her self came back after a few seconds and handed me my study/work permit. To all trv hopefuls I wish you the very best and I'll still be present here to offer my advises et all to those who need it. Cheers! 33 Likes 1 Share |

Obehi44:Travel history wasn't the only reason stated, the vo clearly said the applicant didn't have a clear reason to travel to Canada (which means purpose of visit). I feel he couldn't convince the vo in his SOP |
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 16 by mcobex: 6:18am On Jul 10, 2019 |
ekekg:It states your plan to study appears vogue and poorly documented , so you have to work on your SOP (try to convince the vo why you want to spend that much to study in Canada and not in your he country or anywhere else). Travel history like I always say isn't much of an issue, once you tackle all other aspects it will disappear. Sorry for the delay |
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 16 by mcobex: 6:32am On Jul 10, 2019 |
Miscellaneous:Not true, if you have full funding that covers both tuition and living expenses then no need to include your SOA(but if you have you can include). Just make sure after submitting the proof of full funding you also explain in your SOP to the vo cos some vo might not really pay attention to some documents (maybe due to time or some other things). I always say try to explain to the vo like you are talking or trying to explain things to a layman (don't assume he knows ) 2 Likes |

Green4:On holiday or permanent (working or studying there)? If on holiday or visit then you have to go back to Nigeria to apply but if you have a residence permit to work or live in UAE then you can apply there |

jessyeve: Yes it happens but only very few get rejected. However it very important to proof you have additional funds aside the funding awarded just in case of some unforseen circumstances. |

Good morning house. Please I’d like to know what chances are of getting my visa considering the fact that I don’t have a travel history. |
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 16 by TheAfrikan: 9:50am On Jul 10, 2019 |
lilgan: Goodmorning, You have a great chance of securing a visa without a travel history (talking from personal experience). Lack of travel history as part of a delayed visa is a generic thing and comes with other reasons. So, you can go ahead with your application process. Hope this helps? |
