Curtisaxel7:God bless you brother. I was about saying same until I read your comment. Some people fail to realize they can make their points without resorting to insults. Aren't we all entitled to our opinions? Or must we all share in the same optimism even when the odds aren't clearly in our favor? 2 Likes |

Curtisaxel7:Debate? On your roadside analysis track record or what? Funny thing is this isn't an argument, i'm merely calling/pointing out the bogus onanism you left everywhere after SA v Egypt and using it to judge your present one And if you weren't so high on emotions you'd have taken my advice in good faith and with a laugh. You should get wisdom & self control with manners then come back 8 Likes |

Luckyroro:Did CIV not create [even more] chances that could have laid the game? You're making it seem like its a one sided affair. In fact none of the teams nullified the other's strength so why do you think ours will be nullified. You're not sharing the technicalities anymore? |
Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2025 And 2026 World Cup by tbaba1234: 9:03pm On Jul 11, 2019 |
Luckyroro: Even before Algeria scored, CIV missed an open goal and hit the bar. They had enough chances to take the game. Algeria were not better. This is football. Anything can happen but I do not go into games with a pessimistic mindset. It is not as if we are playing Brazil. 1 Like 1 Share |

Is it not funny how people can't defend their POV without resorting to playing the victim or even own up when they missed it. |

VeeVeeMyLuv: we don't have that physical presence ... intact we re among the smallest among the teams that came to this competition , (Ghana is the shortest )... what we have that is working for us is the winning mentality ... and u can't buy that from the market . forget the informed attacking line we have , if they fail to score the defence line will do it ... ask Omeruo and Ekong .. we have the mentality already and it will hard to be taken away from us , cos we are fired up already . 1 Like 1 Share |

Well a little history here lads. In the Afcon qualifiers we lost the first match 2-0 to South Africa then drew the return leg 0-0 and when we met we beat them 2-1. Now during the world cup qualifiers we beat Algeria in the first leg 3-1 and drew the return leg 1-1 that's a difference 1 goal for each team (compared to the SA results), now if history repeats itself like it has been repeating itself in this AFCON then that match will be 3-2 in favour of Algeria. Also the last time we beat South Africa in an Afcon we ended up losing the next match on penalties(that was in 2000). OK let me run away before people come for my head 1 Like 1 Share |

Mujtahida:Almost all nations have been colonized in their history, its nothing strange. The point is that we were underdeveloped before colonialism not that we were underdeveloped due to colonialism. Without colonization we would most likely still be fighting kiriji and ekitiparapo types of war, while others are landing on the moon. Beriberi, river blindness, abiku (sickle cell), diarrhoa, murdering of twins, smallpox (sopona) would still be killing us like fowls. 1 Like 1 Share |
