I don't know if that's correct because I guess you would have used the emergency request platform on the website....There you will give the reason why you need an emergency date and upload supporting documents. But if you are saying you sent email then how did you do it and how long did it take before they got back to you.

Well well , you know this date thing is unpredictable, actually, a date for July popped up just now and someone was fast enough to get it. I would say, wait a bit, there's a probability an earlier date will pop up considering your resumption date.

There's also an option to request for extension letter.
