Those two are nowhere near what moses offered us. Go and watch our clips against Cameroon and Algeria during the qualifiers. When we lost to south Africa in Uyo, their pundits on supersports said it that if moses played, the game would have been different. They were so happy he missed the game.

Inspite of Ighalo's goals, his performances were poor to average. His best game was against Cameroon.

His movement is still poor so most of his goals came from rebounds and not good attacking play. He does not give midfielders options.. way too static.

Osimhen broke free on the right and left a few times, how many times have you seen Ighalo break free on the wings?

Osimhen offered a different dynamic today for anyone watching with a keen eye. His final balls were poor but he got himself in good positions.

Most of his goal were from rebound ke... Takullah grin grin ,tbaba fear God na,dis goal was d only rebound

Shey na d Burundi goal b rebound? Or d two goals he scored against cameroun? Or d penalty against Algeria? grin grin,if u no like Iggy, just talk am and stop discrediting ighalos effort in d tournament, his effort brut us far na smiley

Only one goals came from a rebound why are you trying to discredit Ighalo? Osimhen was poor today there is no sugar coating that. He lost too many balls in promising positions and mistimed his runs like you yourself always blamed Ighalo for doing. This is a player I love to death but come on with the games na.

Ighalo deserves a lot of credit but his performances were inconsistent and his movement issues remain

The first goal, Aina assist was perhaps the only goal where Ighalo movement was key. The other goals were not as result of great movement. He is easily marked out because he stays with the center backs and does not run into channels. It was obvious against South Africa and Algeria. They easily kept him quiet.

I clearly stated that Osimhens final balls were poor but his movement as an attribute is better than Ighalo.

Osimhen made errors today but he was not quiet.

Read my post above..

My point is that his movement is poor..

How are they better than what we have ?

Tell me something I don't know

The question is not better or comparable but deserved OPPORTUNITY.

If players who are playing youth football and in the back waters of the Nordic leagues can be invited why not them.

That's the question not UNFAIR SELECTION.

If they prove themselves to better then what's the problem. Nonetheless, there are some looking at club performance that are now proven to be better l am talking about Fikayo Tomori.

I agree with Rohr that Osimhen needs to build up strength. It was obvious today.

with the way I see him,if he add too much weight,he will lose some pace. He did well though. He has got some nice movement and he won headers too.

Look at the way, he worked the channels.

It is easy to mark out a striker who waits in the middle.

Most people Nigerians or not are after their pockets. The difference is that some other countries have given their citizens reasons to believe they are special, whether true or not. They tell them these stories in their school system and show them bad but true images of other countries. My question are what do Nigerians see in other countries? What stories did our parents tell us, and even if they wanted to lie to us, will the reality on ground support their story?

Inspiration to be patriotic towards one nation differs. It depends on how you see it.

The guy oozes confidence on a very encouraging scale

Even if he still conceeds goals once in awhile, he is far far better than that clown in Akpeyi.

Akpeyi should stay far away from our team
That Akpeyi is annoyingly poor. one of the worst goalkeepers I've ever set my eyes on.

Really the Cameroon goals were out of what? Didn't he have to be in the right place to put those in? How did he get there by miracle? Against SA Musa time and time again made bad passes, how was that his fault?

Instead of blaming Ighalo's movements we need to get the guy better deliveries. He has already proven himself it his now on the wingers and AMF.

'' One season doesn't make a player'', you are very biased, but when it comes to Chukwueze and Osimhen you would never say that because they weren't born or groomed in England, always downplaying the abilities of Nigerian born players

komekn:

That's not a problem at all.

One season doesn't make a player and l have watched him since he was 16 at Tottenham up close and personal. If he goes to Germany he will clean up less physical mire team technical and not as fast as the EPL.

He had some Injury issues and had to adapt his game to suit the Manager but waa outstanding to the end of the season. Nonetheless, it's early days his Manager has gone to Newcastle do watch this space he may end up in the EPL.

https://www.thesun.co.uk/sport/football/9523325/josh-onomah-mauricio-pochettino-spurs-transfer/

The same way Dominic Iorfa was with him Sheffield Wednesday.

But the player l am looking forward to seeing is Chuks Aneke.

Against Cameroon, none of the goals were as a result of good movement.

Even when good balls come in, where is Ighalo positioned?? I can think of a few. Most times in Iwobi's cross against SA, where was Ighalo? Chukwueze had a few decent balls as well.

Overall, I do not want to be too critical. His positioning was good but movement left a lot to be desired.

Alaye talk true... Osimhen's mobility and positioning are better than Ighalo's ..
Like tbaba rightly said,Ighalo delivered the goals but he was largely inconsistent...He isn't a reliable striker... You can't play free flowing attacking football with a striker like Ighalo who keeps getting himself into positions where he is easily marked out..

For instance, that pass Iwobi gave to Chukwueze for the South Africa goal was actually meant for Ighalo..But he had himself surrounded by 3 South African defender. Maybe it was part of the tactic.. but if Chukwueze wasn't in the box at that time,it would have been a wasted pass..

We shouldn't use a 50 minuted game to judge Osimhen... Right now he is the best back up(or replacement) for Ighalo.. He should be given more game time in d next international window...
