Anybody please. Or should I just use the 7 years experience? Age 35 with a Masters so my point is just 61. I need to boost this point.

If I get you, you have a 7years work experience already? If yes, and its in demand and related to what you study, use it for sinp so long as you can get a reference letter from them.

Gurus if I'm not correct please let me know o.

Hi guys, after waiting this long November 2018 AOR, I had ordered GCMS notes early in June and when I received, I didn't focus on the whole 132 pages or so. I just glanced through the early pages to see what has been done.

Recently, a God-sent friend directed my attention to page 129 where I saw that CO stated that I didn't have sufficient funds to settle, hence a review required.

I declared 2 Bank statements with funds in Euro and Naira. To my surprise, the CO stated that my account balance in the Euro account was at a certain amount which is actually not true and the amount declared in Euros when converted to CAD was over double the amount the CO wrote. embarassed embarassed embarassed embarassed

I have gone ahead to raise a web form contesting this injustice and sent screenshots and indicated the parts where the account balance supports my argument.

My question here is to ask if I have done the right thing or there is something else to do here or what to expect.

Here I was thinking I would just get the golden mail without knowing that some crazy CO is the reason for the delay.

Any suggestions guys and also what to expect from here on...

Only a small correction to the misrepresentation part.

It is only misrepresentation if you list yourself as single when you are already married.

You can always change from unaccompanied to accompanied, but as you noted, the points will be recalculated.
Oh,that's true..thanks for the correction

Gurus in the house please I need your help as I intend to start my PPR journey. I’ve gone through part one and two, but please I still have some questions;
- I have 7 years job experience but from 3 different organizations. Do I need reference letter and proof of salary from them all?
-I currently work with a financial institute but as a contract staff, therefore my monthly pay comes in as ALLOWANCE not salary on my statement of account. My account is a savings account not current salary account. Please will this later affect my application?
- I am 33, single, have OND and HND, no family nor a job offer in Canada. Is it possible to get up to 450 points?

Please help

Wow! Congratulations! CIC really taught you patience. Great that it has ended in praise

Thanks for sharing your story, very encouraging script, it gives hope to us waiting.

You score 9/10

BTW, who missed Osaze aka Mr Worrier. I hope he's finally married with kids now grin grin grin grin grin

This is a long post. Please pardon any typo.

Got a job moved and barely settled in when I realised it was a highly toxic and political environment filled with insecure people. Oh, I could relate with Osaze’s story while he was in UAE. I was mostly depressed this partly affected my June Ielts result.

While waiting apply to ACCES for online program if your profession is on their list. I pray God also answers everyone waiting on something with speed. See you all in Canada.

Thanks for your response. I was hoping to add my NYSC year to my years of experience. (Though there is a break, study time of 2 years between them) just to increase my points.
I might just use the 7 years hopefully cutoff will drop to 61.

Sorry to hear this. What a careless error by the CO!

You have taken the right action by raising the CSE to contest it. Thank God for that your friend, really God-sent.

If it were me, I will also email the Visa office directly in addition to the CSE, as it is a double escalation mata, especially if the VO is outside Canada.

If your VO is in Canada, wait for 5 to 10 days for a reply to your CSE, then call IRCC to know what has been done and the way forward.

Ps Maybe you can also look carefully at your POF docs, perhaps something did not sit right with the CO (look out for any loan, clause etc that might have given a doubt to the CO). Also use XE or Oanda to convert the funds again and see if it meets the statutory amount. If you spot something else you need to clarify or contest, raise another CSE and explain. In my opinion, CSEs can never be too much to forestall any rejection.

All the best

NYSC experience is usable. If you type "NYSC Express entry" in the search section of this thread or read previous pages, you will see many successful cases

Either option is fine

Erigo23:
Hello everyone. Pls I have a question concerning POF. My dad is giving me 100percent of it and while I wait for my ielts remarking results, he wants to give me the money now and forget about it. Pls I need answers to these questions
-can I do open a mutual fund account and he will do a deed of gift showing he gave me the money which I used to open the account
- or should he put the money in treasury bill in my name and also do a deed of gift showing he’s gifting the money?
Sorry for all the many many, I hope i got the technical terms correct. Thanks I await your responses.

ladymarshall:
Hmm! I am not sure that LOE will be sufficient going by past precedence. See picture attached, the man in question has gotten PPR but at the time he reported the issue on his blog early this year, he could not get access to his daughter. After that CIC warning, he was later lucky enough to trick the mother into allowing the daughter join him for vacation and that was how he was able to get her medicals, although unaccompanying.

No two application is the same. Perhaps LOE alone might work for your brother so he can try it if he likes and might return here to positively testify. It might also get sore for him as he might not get a warning but a straight rejection at R10 completeness stage, it really depends on the VO. But medicals are a core requirement, CIC rarely bend their rules on such. Loe without medicals is risky but then they say "the greater the risk, the higher the returns" cheesy Goodluck

Thank you very much. This is highly informative. But how easy is it to file for the child in future if removed from the application now.
