I have had the movie Glass in my pc for a while now, and what kept me from watching it was the low to bad ratings you all gave it here. I decided to watch it this evening with an open mind and seriously y'all got the ratings wrong. The movie is really a good watch with hidden elements of how the world actually works. I give it a 7/10.

The train-wreck of an ending ruined it. Shyamalan completely copped out.

Lion King 5.9-6 out of 10

They kept the story, shots and dialogue almost exactly the same as the original which is fine, it’s supposed to be the live action and only that after all. The visuals/cgi were on point, particularly great job making the animals look realistic, my biggest qualm is that they were GREATLY lacking in emotive expression, which sometimes made it seem like the voices weren’t coming from the animals and the movie almost soulless. So many classic moments that I thought would draw out more emotion in me that kind of just fell flat, I was genuinely preparing myself to cry for Mufasa’s death for example but it didn’t come. Voice acting was ok, favourites in this category were Timon and Pumba. Overall not a bad movie but really misses that spirit of the original, they tried though.

I was disappointed that I didn’t hear one of my favourite songs not only in the franchise but the whole world ‘He lives in you’ (I was getting ready to dance my ass off in my head lol) but apparently that’s from the Lion King 2 so fair enough.

Man this is certainly not the glowing review I was expecting. The Lion King is basically my Childhood as it's the First Movie/Cartoon I have any faint recollection of. Don't want anything ruining that.

Oh btw if you are yet to see it Live at the West End, I urge you to do so. You won't regret it. I have seen it twice now and I sang a long to every song both times grin grin

I loved Fargo because of the way it took the traditional conventions in crime movies, and twist them around. Basically, things that happened in Fargo are the opposite of what you would normally expect in a typical crime movie. It's also what makes it funny, intriguing and unique.

You should check the TV series spinoff. It's even better.
I'm not a series person but I will definitely follow this one grin

If the animals had conveyed more emotion (expression and voice), I would’ve rated it higher, I think you should still check it out though, the movie still brought back memories and made me smile smiley

I really need to!

Mekaprime did and I second it. You won't really enjoy it if you didn't live in the era of Zoeys, Raiders, Hecters (hope I spelt it right) and Mega Games. That's when Street Fighter, Mortal Kombat, Killer Instinct, King of Fighters was in vogue.

Never really did Arcade gaming as dem day lock us for house that time way we small, Infact, am not sure as to if i meet arcade gaming.. But seriously its a Jackie Chan movie, and all of his movies are somewhat similar, unless she doesn't like Jackie Chan type of humor movies, then its understandable.

Pain & Gain...7.8/10
Genre: Action, Comedy, Crime

Michael Bay actually directed this flick, STFD!. No explosions, no CGIs', no car chases, no hard core shootings, no fancy cinematography, & no giant fighting bots, its quite unbelievable. Bay simply let go of everything he's know for & the result was phenomenal. The flick was loosely based on a series of articles that ran in The Miami New Times in 1999, which detailed the crimes of The Sun Gym Gang. The acting from the 3 leads was superb, from Dwayne Johnson, Anthony Mackie to the proverbial kiss of death(Mark Wahlberg). Irrespective of fancing the dark humor employed by the movie, I was rankled with the flick for its reenacting of an actual event, which includes actual murders, dismemberment and backstabbing actions committed by these murderers & playing them up for laughs.

what are the traditional conventions?

fargo if i recall was based on a true story.

it is what happens when an amateur engages other amateurs to commission crimes

it is happening in this country very very well right now with the spate of kidnappings by stark incompetent illiterates

Li’s manager, Steven Chasman, said it was just a bad photo of someone who is 55 years old.

“He has hyperthyroidism that he’s been dealing with for almost 10 years. It’s nothing life-threatening and he’s dealing with it,” Chasman told The Washington Post on Monday.

Lolz, I know sooner or later, someone will fall for this. You aren't the first person to call me out on this, and you won't be the last. I'll do what I always do in these situations, and direct you to the website below

Bottom line, Fargo isn't based on a true Story.

The 1996 movie Fargo begins: “This is a true story. The events depicted in this film took place in Minnesota in 1987. At the request of the survivors, the names have been changed. Out of respect for the dead, the rest has been told exactly as it occurred.

I've played many variations to the game but I still like the sf2 turbo and soft best. Though the graphics aren't as good as today's own.
