The problem is "na ourselves we dey do", Solskjaer sees lukaku as surplus to requirements, he doesnt play to his style. Apart from Inter milan no one wants to sign lukaku for now,why not take 50 to 60 million and sell him? Instead of putting him on the bench for most of the coming seasons?

My point is IF and IF the money is needed sell Lukaku and move on. If he is special to solksjaer he will be starting match in, match out. Morata didn't meet Chelsea expectations they've sold him and moved on. I agree the club shouldn't act desperate in buying players but when it comes to selling if the money can be used to get a better fit then sell. If there are no better offers or If the club doesn't need the money then no qualms.

The end will always justify the means, Whatever decision is taken by ED should take us out of the 6th position. If we are where we should be clubs wont take us for granted.

You know it will cost us much more than that to replace him yeah? OGS never said he wanted Lukaku out but he wasn't going to stop him if he decides to move elsewhere as long as certain conditions are yet.

This is how it'll pan out....

United sells Lukaku for £60m (after buying at £75m), clubs are now 100% sure that a replacement is needed, which automatically means that the price of any proven striker United bids for will rise rapidly. Only Ben Yedder is at £35m, which is his release clause, but you can see what Sporting are doing already with Bruno Fernandes. Sevilla is already looking to renew Yedder's contract and definitely raise his release clause immediately.

They (Clubs) already know that United needs midfielders and defenders, see the ridiculous prices they're quoting. Imagine the price they'll put on a striker with at least 30 goals last season.

There's no way Maguire is worth £90m, or Koulibaly £100m.... even TransferMarket values Maguire at £50m while the other is £65m.

We need about 3 to 4 right players, to stay in top 4 for at least 2 to 3 years. If i were ED i will splash the cash and complain later.

Barca spent more than £200 million pounds on Dembele and Couthino who didnt turned out the way they wanted but that didnt deter them from going for griezman.
