Please wat is saline drops and how do I get it? Is it safe for a 2 months old??

They are sold in pharmacies. I believe it is safe cos it contains no medication, it is basically salt and water mixed proportionally. You can google more or confirm from your pharmacist or better still, read the pamphlet.

Talking about all these mixing mixing body cream for babies reminded me of a convo I had with a family member when I posted a picture of my baby with sweats on her. Funny thing is, if the mixture works for them, there’s nothing you can say to stop them.

And the reaction I get when I tell ppl the cost of sebamed body wash and cream is somehow. They’d be like, that much on a baby? I used pure ori for my baby during her first month then switched to sebamed body milk thereafter because I bought it while shopping baby things if not, I’d have stayed faithful to pure Shea butter

Hello mummies, please help advice a friend of mine though she's not on this forum.
So she gave birth last month through CS after having a stressful and long labor with blood loss.
Since then up until now, her breastmilk is not coming out yet. Its over month now and she's really worried.

Please advice her. Has anyone experienced such, will her breast still produce milk?

Injection powder shocked shockedshocked nawa. Ndị team fresh and clean skin but destroying innocent baby skin and system too. Something they'll never try on their own skin. Even if they can't afford sebamed, there are other less costly cream and soap. I use boots products for my daughter from birth till now before I switched to Jimpo Ori cos that's what her brother is using.
Funbact A, Vista Plus, Skineal etc is for skin issues and you should discontinue when is cleared. If you want to mix mix, do it and use for yourself and leave an innocent baby alone.

No ma.Your baby shouldnt have any biz with powder
till 6 mths at least.Arent they teaching it anymore during antenatals...Use vaseline blueseal, tribotan Or sudocreme. You might want to air the bum the times You are around.Kpele
For other times, keep the vaseline near the diapers and use As base, that way even If changing is delayed, baby's bum is protected.
yeh I know abt the 6 months powder thingy.. I tot i could apply carefully on d vj area since it was because of respiratory issue.. but I would go for the bluesea thanks maam

Mamas, senior mamas, grandmas, gbogbo ile, I greet oh! Pardon me derailing a bit, biko. My baby is 18months now and we are starting school probably and actively by September, he wouldn't be closing 2PM cos I won't be home till about 5PM, so pls mas I need meal inspiration for him. I've decided not to do BG, AS and other cereals again. What are the types of food I can prepare that will last him 7AM to 5PM? I need inspiration about meal time table so that I can help him get the required nutrients as well, if there's any WhatsApp group or Instagram page I can join to achieve it, pls suggestions are welcomed.

Secondly, my son still plays with my breast and even sucks it at times (tho I've weaned him several months back). There was a day he sucked it in d presence of a friend who came to visit, my friend was shocked and quickly pulled him away. We were both surprised to see fresh milk coming out of the breast and my friend says that's d reason why I've not gotten pregnant, she says till d breast dries up completely I might not be able to. I've stopped him since then but I'm beginning to think she's right.

Pls mamas, how do I get d breast to dry up?? Abeg make una no waka pass mi ooh

We really need to stop our cream mixology dear mothers.
My experience, I went to a cream store and requested for cream for a fair three years old and he gave me one beautiful cream(in my mind) which worked wonderfully well but I suffered the consequences.
1. She was soooo white that green veins started popping out.
2. Excessive sweat which later resulted to dehydration that we eventually took her to the hospital.
3. Dry skin with no lustre. Her skin was smooth but not shinning just dry.
Now, if 1 cream can do this, what do we think will happen if I mix with say funbact A, skineal or injection powder? We really should be careful.
I've learnt my lesson, so we all use ori or Vaseline, sometimes we observe cream -free- day.

No idea about the food thing, we'll be starting school too in Sep and I need advice on that too.

I actually got pregnant while I was still breast feeding DS, had to stop when I found out so I don't think it affects in any way, as long as your monthly flow has resumed.
Maybe you should stop breast feeding totally if you really want it to dry up

Whatever he normally eats at home is fine

As for the 2nd you are sending mixed signals, if you have weaned him, please don't allow him play with or suck your breast, it has ceased to belong to him

That has no impact on conception sha, you can conceive even while lactating

Body system differs. Some people don't get pregnant as long as they are still producing milk. Some mothers don't menstruate until they stop weaning while some started menstruating after 3 months. Mine is 6 months post delivery.

So, in her own case, her friend might be right. It all depends on individual's hormone.

You have to always give water with formula, or she would get constipated.

Use the blueseal after you've cured the rash please. First use baby tribotan for the rash and air it out a lot this weekend. Hope you registered your displeasure at the creche so that it will not happen again.

If You must formula feed, water is Very important to avoid what youare experiencing.
Give warm water in the morning. You too take lot of oranges so your baby can suck from breast. If it persists, hospital.

Since he's stopped sucking it completely, give it time, it should stop. I also read that cabbage in bra helps. Stop pressing it too to see if it would come out. Give it like 2 months then check, if it's still there, go to hospital.
I got pregnant while breastfeeding but I've also seen women who could never get pregnant while breastfeeding. So who knows.

As for food, all you need is a really good flask so invest in one that can keep food warm for at least six hours. You can pack anything he eats at home, rice, beans, yam, plantain, potato porridge or you can just cook stew and serve all the above mentioned foods with stew, i.e yam and stew, beans and stew, plantain and stew, potato and stew. Or you can switch it up for different days. You can pack one food in a quantity that's enough for two feeds or pack two different foods cuz after breakfast at home, he would probably need to eat around 12 then again around 4. Depends on how he eats at home sha. You can also put biscuit and ribena and the likes for backup if you feel like it. I'd suggest packing his favourite home cooked meals for the first week at least so that you're sure he's eating.

Maybe that ship has sailed, one month is a long time. I'd recommend those 'baby friendly' nurses at General hospitals, they would bully the breastmilk out cheesy

I was forced to give baby food in d night, wen my two breasts has become empty, yet she didn't sleep o, but now as I type she is sleeping, pls sabi mamas and @kaffybill, what do u think is happening or wat can I do?

Sorry darling. ***Permit me to laugh in Spanish please**** Welcome to the real deal. This experience nearly drove me crazy. Thank God for my mum that really stayed with me. I backed my baby one of such beautiful nights. My mummy rocked her but NO. I was so angry that mum and I nearly fought because I refused attending to her. To be sincere,I wasn't happy I did that to her but I needed to at that time to maintain my sanity. God bless mothers.
