Most likely he has injured his medial meniscus which is the “shock absorber” between the femur (thigh bone) and the tibia (lower leg).
Usually injured when you land awkwardly with your knee flexed.
Lay off period is usually not as long as it is for ACL (ligament) injury which is usually injured when planting your foot and changing direction at speed.

He has a meniscal injury which normally occurs via a different mechanism.

I had serious hope for Bailly. Initially when he came he did well, all of a sudden his agbero tendencies started to show and I still kept calm. But its like this is his real mode! The agbero mode. He now looks uncomfortable on the ball and as if he is scared of making mistakes which is actually a recipe for making mistakes.
