I have searched and searched the net for over 3 months with keywords such as "mi 9 se a failure " and ironically the result have always been links to reviews praising the SE to high heavens

I challenge u to give a link to a site, known or mediocre, that suggests the mi 9 SE is a failure or that even the k20 has hurt the 9 se in anyway.

Today, western reviewers are giving fantastic reviews for the SE, an American reviewer even compared it with pixel 3a.

This thread itself na for Xiaomi fans to interact and not take things personal via argument. I can point to about 3 people's fault up there. Oya lemme use another semantic "gratification". Most top Techtubers receive gratification in the form of exclusive show invites, receiving of pre-launch devices and other PR material etc.

These I think are enough to make one's opinion biased in order to keep receiving such privileges. MKBHD for one has shown the negative effects of such gratifications in recent times.

For objectivity I will rather watch Mrwhosetheboss, Techtablets, UnboxTherapy, Xiaomify etc. Least I forget, I particularly look out for reviewers that buy their own gadgets themselves

I can now see why you said what u said. You didn't know the genesis of the argument. It is similar to what happened just now.

Last week argument came about because I suggested the mi 9 se to somebody who said his budget is only limited to a 100k but would like to buy the k20. Before u know it, k20 fans jumped on me for dare saying that. They tot the best he should have done was to save up and buy the k20.

Similar thing happened this morning, somebody posted a YouTube video of a review of the k20, a review I wil call excellent for the k20, but just because he mentioned a single flaw he noticed on the device... you yourself can read the comments that followed. Is that necessary?

Anyway that's your way of reasoning. But just to tell you, I am a die hard sammy fan, there hasn't been a time I've never had a Samsung phone with me.

I came about this thread when I was looking to change my alternate phone, Nokia 3. I was looking to buy another Nokia then cos I wanted to go for a known brand and not some shitty brands springing up and down. But then, I noticed the xiaomi thread is always on top of the phone section, so curiously I opened and started following the thread.

I was impressed by the comments I saw and decided to do a little research on the net and of course YouTube video.

In the end, I told my self "this could be worth a try" and wanted to go for the mi 8, but then saw that it was redmi 7 trending all over the place and then I came across the mi 9 se on a YouTube video and tot it's my best choice cos its smaller.

No matter what phone I use, I'll always have the ever reliable Samsung handy so it's of no serious concern to me if yall keep saying the SE is a failure, I have my Samsung nearby just in case.

So the long and the short of it is, there's nothing to take personal

You're a die hard Sammy fan right? Let me inform you that I have never used a Xiaomi phone , I also use a Samsung phone , as a matter of fact I bought 2 new Samsung s10plus about 2 weeks back.
