Keep trying, use exact details in your form - study permit outside of Canada.

Try everyday, mine took 2 days

1) Go to this link
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/e-services/mycic.asp
2) Select: continue to Gckey
3)Select: Sign up on next page and create your username, password and security questions.
4)After creating my cic account, click link application to this account.
5)Then select category as Temporary residence and subcategory as Study permit and extension.
6)Then select Family name, given name and date of birth option.
7) Fill your family name(surname), given name and date of birth.
Next in applicant personal info fill passport information only and DO NOT FILL CITY AND COUNTRY OF BIRTH.
9) Fill program start and end date as well as DLI number of the institution (found in offer letter)
10) Your application will be found and can be linked.
11) You can get real time updates on your paper application.

Medviv:

Thank you for your response .

Yeah, I tried linking it but I don’t know my application number or UCI number . I used my family name and passport details, but only the 1st application(which was the online application) came up.

Is this your 2nd application? What details from your application did you use to link it to the online account ?

@ Dreambig124 if your brother could sponsor you with $5000 yearly and you trade 0.5 of your coins that should be enough to cover total cost.

Or you could just do as Akeemty stated.

BTW, I wouldn't want to sell mine if I were you.

Overall CGPA 4.74 of 5.0 and last two year CGPA 5 of 5. I got admissions to Dalhousie University, University of Saskatchewan and Memorial University of Newfoundland

Which university did you graduate from and when did you graduate? Dalhousie and Saskatchewan are very selective schools. Congrats on your admission and funding. Do you have any wrk experience? Is it more than three years? You might be able to apply for Canadian Express Entry after your Msc?
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 16 by mroyato(m): 6:32pm On Jul 29, 2019
There is an MSc program in Risk and Safety engineering offered by Memorial University. Unfortunately, the winter admission would be closing by 1st of August.

JustMellow:

A PGWP will be issued on the length of your study program. A student visa and study permit might be in same Temporary Visa category but yet different. The area of your focus should be principally on the issued duration of your study permit.

Best of luck!

Thanks, but I still don’t quite get.
Will I still be given PGWP after the 2 year visa expiry ?
Even if at POE, I’m given a study permit of a year.

@Gbemms9 did you use the service of an Agent for your school admission and visa application?
Thanks dear.

I used an agent for my visa application,
I applied to the school myself.

grin grin grin grin I want to laugh before posting. All June applicants should pray oh. Hope we all remembered what happened to May/June/July 2018 applicants. Sleekysoft, Hunkerbert, litterbug, Austacus e.t.c. should I tell you guys? Pray. I repeat pray to whomever u worship. Because most of the apps lasted 8months+. Some 10, some 12months. Just a month and you all are ranting. Pray oh.or else, you guys are in for a long thing grin. Make una no vex. Na joke I the joke oh. My point is, you all should be patient. CIC? If you dont have a patient attitude, you can't deal with then. My app lasted 12months. I got my passport back after 13th months. So relax all June applicants. Your applications would be handled soon. Cheers!!! Peace

Those using certified agents for their study permit application, does it increase your chances of your application being approved? Those Canadian certified agents, the amount they charge no be here. The money is even enough to add to your flight ticket.
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 16 by kcosam: 9:29pm On Jul 29, 2019
grin grin grin really funny joke indeed, well I believe that it will not be the same as 2018 because we are already seeing approvals from May 2019 applicants, so I guess its batch by batch and above all, we need faith, patience, and prayers for it will surely end in praise for everyone in Jesus name. Amen! for all the hopefuls.

A lot of Students in Canada right now are also waiting beyond the processing time for the study permit extension. Waiting time is now extending beyond two months which does not reflect the current processing time they posted on CIC website. Its not just outside Canada applicants alone. Stay Positive!!! It's coming...……...

Hello Claireeny, Msc from University of Worcester, UK. I need to offer additional courses too. Yes I got some funding and also a graduate award. Sent you an email.

Dreambig124:
Good day everyone. I have been following this thread closely but not as a registered member and I want to thank everyone for the contribution on this thread, I have really learnt a lot.
Please I will need your advice on my application for student permit. Is it advisable for me to apply as a self sponsor for my program. I’m 22 years old and I have managed to save up to 9 million, I have been saving in that account for over 3 years in order for me to sponsor myself to Canada. I presently have close to 10 million saved in form of cryptocurrency together making up 19million naira. I was lucky to buy and keep bitcoin before I got admission into the university because I spent a year at home before getting admission. Is it wise for a 22 year old to apply as a self sponsor? If yes how do I prove to the vo source of funds. I can still try to get some of my transactions on different website dating back to 2015/2016 but not all. I am confused and need your advice
