Not a war bro. When it's time to celebrate we celebrate,
when the news is a bad one we consciously and unconsciously morn ....for the few that bring Igbos bad name we pray they change.....I hope to make Igbos proud some day....and by extension, make Nigeria proud. If there is anything like next world I will come back an Igbo man. I really don't know how it feels to be from another tribe but I guess they are proud to have originated from there as well.

I love Igbos shaa...! Anything they determine to do, they do best. No need hating them.
The Cantonese and the Zhejiang people of China are just like the Igbos, very industrious. But instead of main land people hating them, they embraced them such that Eastern China which was known for Agriculture, now boasts of technical know-how and industrial growth. Our education is useless and that's why we hate tribally instead of finding the way to benefit from that tribe. China has tribes too.

The moment i stumble on the thread, I knew it will turn to tribal supremacy contest. The lady is exceptional and nigerian and thats all I see. She is putting our nane on the map and i think that is the message i supposed we should be focus on. I am so proud of her.

A Nigerian, Dr Eleanor Nwadinobi, has emerged President-elect of Medical Women International Association (MWIA) in the United States.

The MWIA is a global association of all medical women doctors in the world, Igbere TV reports.

The association’s spokesperson, Dr Udochi Okoronkwo, said in a statement on Monday that Nwadinobi became the first Nigerian to emerge as president-elect of the 100-year-old association, an indication that she would become the International President by 2022, Igbere TV reports.

She said that Nwadinobi, who hails from Umuahia, Abia State, was celebrated during the closing ceremony of the Centennial Congress of the MWIA, organised by American Medical Women’s Association (AMWA) from July 25 to July 28 in New York.

According to the spokesperson, Nwadinobi joined the association in Nigeria through its Enugu branch in 1982 and rose to become President of the Enugu branch in 1997.

In 2005, the MWIA president-elect was elected as the National President of Medical Women Association of Nigeria and served on the Scientific, Ethics and Resolution Committee and chaired the Finance Committee.

Nwadinobi is also a co-country representative for the Working Group on Women Youth Peace and Security for UN Office for West Africa and the Sahel (UNOWAS)
