any movie but run away from any DC related stuff for your own psychological safety . Consumption of Dead comics filmography has overtime been known to cause Severe brain fart and I have alot of evidence to back this up . Ie ANTIMCU, Iuwe , Minermys , Tonyspike etc

I agree with you on the last part. We need films their principal themes don't align with fan servicing for a change. I want to be surprised again. I miss the days of such films. Now, we have money making machines that make all the right noises for profit. I want controversy.

This is a beauty but nothing comes close to Black Hawk down for me.

Wow. And what exactly is the key reason movies are made? For charity? The number one reason a studio will finance a big budget movie is to make money. Or you think DC movies are made to keep people happy?

Unfortunately, studios won't even toe that path unless for smaller independent production companies.
Truth is that, most people want to see films that are based on existing properties; be it a book, cartoon, another film, comic book etc.
It's very evident from the B.O figures you posted above.
Very few directors are given leeway to produce original films with huge budgets except few like Nolan.
Let's even start by asking the last time an original concept made past 800 million dollars at the B.O.
I believe this is just a season reflecting viewer's taste.
When it'll pass, I can't say.

But it becomes a problem when little to no efforts are put in to make it at least decent-with the mentality that audiences will see it regardless.
