Hello guys, thanks for your wonderful contributions they've been really helpful.

Please I wish to ask what's the procedure to appeal a rejection?
Is there anyone that has appealed and later got visa? Your kind responses will be highly appreciated. Thanks

What is the reason for your rejection?

My people abeg advise me o. My AD is Oct 22 but my school wants me to be present for a compulsory Lab security course on 8th Nov. This thing is really disturbing me. Although I plan to enrol and fund this month. But the time between interview and arrival is too short? Is there anything I can do?
Oct 22 and Nov 8th are about 19 days apart, I've not seen anyone get AM in 19 days, the earliest I've seen is 22 days ( But we know say everyone's grace is different). And remember after AM, it takes at least 5 days before you get your visa. So here are a few solutions I can think of:
- What are the consequences of not attending this program? Will your admission be rescinded if you're not there?
- Send an email to your school explaining your plight. Attach the mail containing your AD as proof.
- If it's possible, begin the enrolment process from here in Nigeria.

Woah!!! Amazing, you did quite a great justice to most of my shared concerns, I dunno how to thank you well enough for the effort and time you made out to beat my worries.

Now I understand better and hey! to whom it may concern, this is an open proposal, let's get married already before I got caught up in the web of underpayment in Germo grin

However, I'll appreciate it again if u can touch the area I mentioned about a more fairer location that could be recommended as a best pick for choice of school with an exemption of Eastern Germany.

My apologies if I stress you any further.

Seven Blessings @dolpaz

Master,

Your response is funny grin wink

Anyway, I only know of Hildesheim for MSc in Data Analytics.

Sincerely speaking, those are just names. Your experience and what you have to offer is actually paramount to the Germans. Fine, you have a good interest in data analytics, but you can also learn this while studying International Management, Information systems, International business with Informatics and other courses related to management or Sciences. I know that schools in Canada, USA, UK, Australia offers these specialized courses in droves but Germany is just more of engineering.

Moreso, Germany has everything to make you succeed if you pursue the goal. I have worked with quite some big companies and I can tell you that what you study at the Uni may be different from your normal day to day routine. I have seen a Software developer becoming a Risk analyst, I have seen a chemical engineer student become a Business Intelligence consultant, and so on. At times, we have to weigh our options and pick the best for ourselves

So, what I´m saying in Essence is to get a study place, develop yourself thru various online medium, participate in meet-ups, go for internship to help strengthen your data analytics skills using R-Studio, Python, JupiterLab, and other Data Minning and Analytics software.. ofcourse, I´m also not a Fan of the eastern part of Germany... Lol... No offence to the East-siders though but look through the western part, they have more schools than any region in Germany. Also, look at the Northern and the southern part. I bet you´ll find lots of school and courses that would suit your need.

I wish you all the best in your pursuit bro.

Gemeinsam sind wir starke !

What is the reason for your rejection?

Bro,

The reason most times is always the same.

"There are (serious) doubts concerning your intended purpose to travel for studies."

The mostly used the word "serious" especially when they are in extreme doubt, then they use the word serious. Like under performing at the interview, failure of the written test, amongst others

First off, under which category did he book?
Tell him to cancel and rebook using November as enrollment deadline. then reach out to his school asking them to extend his enrollment deadline.

Thanks a lot for your kind response Maam. He booked under category B which is the right category for undergraduate course on free education.

But concerning cancelling and rescheduling till... Is that not far fetched?

Because my worries is not even rebooking. But my worries is that he may be scheduled for appointment this August. What if I cancel now and rebook... That means taking him down the pecking order again because there will be plenty before him again to attend to!

But my concern again is being sure they will give the invite this August! .

Pleas what should I do? He is quite young and I have been the one assisting him. I don't want to fail. Thanks Maam.

If he's not gotten date for August by now, then I doubt he can get August AD eventually. People who have been getting ADs recently have been getting October (late October sef).
He should cancel and rebook with new enrolment deadline for November. People have been doing that and it's working for them

Thanks bro. I read some of your posts last year on this...

Message sent. Awaiting your response

Hi Bro/Sis,

To appeal a rejection, you have to write a Remonstration letter stating why your visa should be approved.

I have helped lots of people to the Glory of God and 70% of them made it.

Maybe you should send me a message so that I can help you with the solution I profer.

Regards

Is it normal for embassy to hold on to SL after issuing visa ? This happened to me as i have received my visa but my SL is still with them

No, it is not because you will still need the same SL to change your visa to a residence permit and to renew it till the end of your program. So contact them ASAp maybe it was a mistake or something. Shalom

If someone can get enrolment certificate, does it means I can resume anytime and the embassy will not raise a flag

It depends. In some cases, that is not enough. The Embassy might ask you to get a letter from your school stating that you can still resume. Some schools will happily give it to you while some will tell you it is too late. Shalom

Your start date of November 2 should be the issue. You need to take a leap of faith to cancel and rebook toward a later time in November. And if possible seek for extension of enrollment from your school. I had a similar situation as yours. Cancelled and rebooked for For Nov. 15 and i have AD now.
mightyokwy:
Please those getting AD how do you do it. I booked on Monday by 2.am up till now no date. I used 8th November as my deadline. Though booked category A and I'm going for bachelor and my Nigerian degree is 2.1. Is there something I'm not doing right. Should i cancel and rebook.

Secondly, I feel so uneasy. I booked on Thursday morning at around 4:30am with Nov 15 as deadline. Please hope Nov 15 is still safe ooo.

This situation of yours is quite daisy in all honesty. The duration between your appointment date and the date the school wants you to be in Germany is very short. Getting AM within that time frame heavily depends on when the foreign office in your school approves your visa before sending the corresponding reply to the embassy. This is what I think you should do, it's just about trying to exhaust every possible options with enough prayers to back it up.

There are three parties to this issue of yours. First and foremost your school (program coordinator), the consulate and the foreign office. This are possible things you can do with the actors in play

* Write a polite mail to your program coordinator, explaining the difficulties in getting an appointment date and pleading that he should reschedule that exercise for you for a later day when you will probably arrive. Also screenshot and attach the your appointment date as evidence that you have a date already with the consulate.

* For the consulate, you can try to write them explaining this challenge of yours with a screenshot of the mail sent to you for this exercise with dates attached, and plead to be given an earlier date. Do this prayerfully with faith cos there's nothing prayers cannot solve. You might be very fortunate enough the person to attend to your request might be in the very best of moods and will take no time in assigning an earlier date for you cos some people with AD who probably couldn't get an Admission letter from their school obviously will cancel their appointment and you might just be favored with that.

* For the foreign office, you need someone from your school to probably go there to help facilitate your application with the speed of light by talking to the person responsible for application, that is if your school and the consulate refuses to shift grounds. Germans are very lenient and kind enough to help with all pleasure. This can be possible if you explain to your course coordinator how the system works, stating the date of your proposed interview so he can decide on how best to approach them immediately after your interview. This you also do prayerfully releasing your angels at work with faith to go ahead of you and put them to action.

Sorry for the lengthy message. I never knew it will amount to this. I have to detail this to enable you prepare your mind in taking decisive actions. This German Waka na per head, a lot of unique, unimaginable positive things do happen. All the very best.

My friend got his AL from there last month precisely on the 18th. Though he mailed them prior requesting for them to fast track the process because of visa delays. Why not do a mail to them.
Re: General German Student Visa Enquiries Part 7 by Davison360: 6:49am On Aug 03, 2019
Thanks sassy92. The consequence is that I won't be allowed to use the lab which also means i can't study. The course coordinator informed me that the date can't be shifted. Although I'll send a mail.
Thank you.

Old ID cards, baptismal certificate; I used my old school library card, but the VO would later remove it saying she doesn't need it.
