seguntijan:I agree with you pa! this is how tinubu became jagaban they all have ulterior motives that would be revealed in time, but if the government wants to arrest arrest based on concrete evidence of rebellion not mere talk, buhari mehn I am just short if words it even pains me more to hear that Atiku is the best alternative to buhari these are bunch of don't do wells who once ruled and instead of them to take a back seat and help the country nature those who will put the country on track they came back or planning to come back n loot, one is even shouting kill kwaruption now na kwaruption dey kill us for this country, we don't even know who is winning between Mr Kwaruption n Buhari it seems both of them have called a round table n starting harvesting from the country already 2 Likes 1 Share |

Revolution is not something you plan openly. It's usually something that takes the leadership/government by surprise. |

The government of that time at least allowed people to protest but latter interrupted the protest because they thought it might turn violent. Allow people to protest in peace or they'll protest with violence. When the majority doesn't want you anymore, there's nothing you can do about it unless you want to end up like Abacha. koboko69: 1 Like |

Boyooosa: In civilised countries, if some says they will do you harm, you report the police. It will be the job if the police to take from there. However, this has nothing to do with what is being discussed. Sowore asked people to come out and join him in protest, which is his constitutional right. The fact that he called his protest a 'revolution' is what people are making noise about. 1 Like |

You can sit in your house until Fulani herdsmen come and slaughter you and your family. They're already in the forest and on the roads, so you need to watch your back now and don't travel outside your city. WiLdFLame: |

This is not democracy, check out Donald Trump, China President , Putin, see how pro actively Dey run a country, boasting economies, men with ideas, goal, dreams, ambitions, Buhari have none, all in his head is kwaruftion, he doesn’t even know the true meaning or how to tackle it |

Re: Will Any Government In The World Sit And Watch A "Revolution" Protest? by SaintLucia: 9:17am On Aug 04, 2019 |
gidgiddy:So you never hear say armed robbers dey write letter and send it to some particular streets that we are coming to rob you? And you will see the people in that streets trying to do everything possible to prevent such risk, some people in that street may even leave their house for safety. My point Sowore is a fool. Go back and read where revolution has taken place. It has never happened in a Democratic state. U want to overthrow a legitimate government just because u lost election and want people to wear orange beret that carry your party logo. |

What sowore is trying to do is what majority of Nigerians want and need, as a matter of fact, many feel it's long overdue but who wan die? ( we all scared and selfish, including sowore, if not why did run for office of president) Now, sowore, from my point of view is trying to do the " right" thing the "wrong" way. Even if the idea is a revolution, he shouldn't have presented it as such, at least in public, as NO GOVERNMENT in the world would sit idly by and allow its overthrow. But ofcourse Nigerians are tired of hearing protests and the word revolution is the only way to get people to support the movement ( let's see who would come out tomorrow). Tommorow would really determine what we really want, a deserted protest tomorrow means we are doomed by the ruling class, ( sowore maybe offered a package and go underground) or an impressive turnout could be the beginning of the much desired " change" Note that most revolutions don't start with an announcement of revolution - it begins with protest so only a stupid government would not pick up the organizer of a revolution - it is treasonable felony. I believe sowore knows better and knows the card he is playing, I pray he gets support or else he is so on his own. Enough said!!! |

gidgiddy:Weldone Sir, I have read all your arguments. You can now go and release Sowore from captivity. On a serious note, the man Sowore knows what he is getting into and he is ready to take all the risk that goes with it. No Government anywhere in the world will hear that word 'Revolution' against him and keep calm. |

Stillthebest: According 2u: "Sowore shouldn't have used the word 'revolution' a protest will do". We are talking about choice of words& d kind of message they transmit. I didn't ask whether he is fighting 4 Shiites or not. What word did d Shiites use? Revolution or protest? I don't no what u mean by "well educated people use proper vehicles to channel a course". Maybe u can shed some light on it as well as ur comment that "Warriors don't fight like commoners". Who are d "warriors" and who are d "commoners"? |

King44: God bless you, TINUBU and co then were using NADECO against the military, they were fighting the military because they know once democracy comes in they'll become the next emperor. This is exactly my point, none of Africa's protest leaders revolution is purely for the masses except NELSON MANDELA and that's why he's celebrated all over the world for that selfless service. Even FELA that's rebellious once contested for PRESIDENCY, 2023 is coming, SOWORE need to be in the news, and FG is giving him. what he wanted. the same SOWORE is the presidential candidate and National Party chairman. Imagine Atiku doing Secondus work also or Buhari doing Oshiomole's work. |

Midastorch: Syria's case didn't start as war but u mentioned this: "the revolts by the Free Syria Army (FSA) was hijacked by Al-qaeda, hence what we have in Syria today." That is y I asked u, how's it applicable to Nigeria except u don't no what d Free Syria Army is and what it stands for. I also asked u: "Who are "d enemies of d state" and who are their opposites?". Am yet to get a response on that |

Afamed: Exactly. His plans is outrightly wrong. I mean, how can a western academia still lack sense at over 40? There are smart ways to handle this. Taking an case at a time and protesting for that case to be implemented is smarter than planning to overthrow a government. That's how things are done in civilised climes. Labour has proved that it works again and again. ASUU has. Overthrow the government when an election was conducted less than 6 months ago? WTF. He's basically tolling the path of IPOB |

modsfucker: In Nigeria that has serious security challenges, they are chasing people around because of choice of words? How is an unarmed Sowore going to force a change government? With his orange beret? If a country like Nigeria that has other groups who are killing people daily and the security forces are more interested in the type of words Sowore uses, it means Nigeria isnt a serious People are being killed every day, your security forces is busy chasing around those who used wrong choice of words. I laugh in Chinese |
