What you posted is not factual. so you don't understand colloquial speech as well( you are an illiterate) Debt to GDP ratio to reach 62 percent is different from it has reach 62 percent. anyway may report put Ghana debt to GDP ratio at 58.1 percent which is a month earlier than your report and it is factual .

Both Ghana and Nigeria are natural resources dependable nation. but while oil alone contribute to about 87.7 percent of Nigeria export receipt and a very significant percentage of Nigeria GDP. Ghana on the other hand has oil, cocoa and gold fighting for the highest foreing receipt.. Gold is probably the highest. but it is not more than 44 percent of Ghana export receipt. Ghana has more than 10 natural resources contributing significantly to her GDP. and export earning. bauxite, manganese and timber export has risen of late.



is there any manufacturing industry in kano apart from textile and leather production? . what is very abundant in Ghana North.

That doesn't make Ghana sophisticated.Ghana is heavily reliant on minning, cocoa & now oil..I think outside South Africa - Egypt and Kenya - are most sophisticated economies. Kenya export so many items - 2nd only to Egypt in COMESA.

In my comparism, i already bar south Africa and I am limiting the discustion into sub saharan African. if my words serve me right. sophistication in this sense will mean diversification of economy. then Ghana earns and rake income from many sectors of her rich resources base. Ghana natural resources is diverse.

Ghana aluminium , textiles and horticulture export is very strong ( may be one of the top 4 in africa).

Ghana is currently embarking on massive industrialization. the brain behind the 1 district 1. factory that the Goverment is piloting.

currently , Manufacturing represent the third-largest industrial segment of her economy , at GHS671.1m ($160.7m), up 6.6% on the previous year.


Ghana automobile and aluminium production is improving daily. ( in agriculture, few country in africa will have added more value to her product than Ghana.).

In the area of technological development which determines the quality of a nations economy, you are not doing bad, but not up to Nigeria.
In sub Saharan Africa, only South Africa has a more diversified economy.


But to Vaxx. You sure know, that the percentage of Nigeria's GDP that is not-oil based is bigger than Ghanas GDP, which is only based on export of gold , Cocoa and other raw materials.
