I think it's high time Nairobi stop processing our study permit application. We are getting so much positive news from Paris.
I think Paris should be handling all our application anytime soon. 8 Likes 2 Shares |

Hello Guys,
Summary of my application: Initial submission : June 18th Medicals passed: August 2nd BVl/Correspondence: August 5th Passport request: August 5th (23mins after the correspondence)
In summary, it's all God because I dont even know what I put together except I start reviewing my application, I kept adding and adding different documents, even my mum's change of name lol.
I was worried it was late as I was ready exactly one month before and kept looking for what wasn't missing just because I wanted a "BAM" application. My advice is Just Do It, I'm sure you'll have read some people's list of documents and wondered "Wow Wow Wow" like a siren. But Mehn, no two applications are the same. God knows the end from the beginning
I uploaded my statement of account together with my mum's as I have been working for a while so it makes perfect sense to upload. Land documents were also uploaded, IDs of my parents with three (3) statement of intent (Mine, mum and dad). Our payslips, promotion letters at place of work for the three of us as well. (At this point, the VO would have been confused if the application was Mine, my mum's or my dad's lool.
Then the required documents - passport, offer letter and the likes, I was later called for Medicals which took a while to be uploaded, thanks to Q-life. The process was pretty fast and tensioning. I got the correspondence earlier this morning and wasnt sure what it meant as I have read somethings in that regard, but I was anxious for what was next.
When the main mail arrived, I just paused, relaxed on my chair, smiled, and thanked God.
To be very honest and frank with frankrobbin1, I followed and over-read almost all his comments. Thanks so much. And other comments that helped directly and indirectly from you guys, and kudos to you guys that assist with inquires on here, "you dont know whats going on"...The number of unknown spectators that use your comments ehn, we plenty for here.
Wishing waiting applicants Good luck and Success 21 Likes 1 Share |

Please house I made a mistake which I noticed after submission on the 8 of July on my application for study permit made outside of Canada...My program runs for 2 years , going for master in curriculum teaching and learning at University of Manitoba. On the form instead of putting September 2021 as the duration of expected study I mistakenly put in September 2020...Am really worried ever since.i don't know if that has a negative impact on my application. Also I just linked my paper application today and found out medical has been passed on the 24 July...I did an upFront on June 13..and both eligibility and background are running same time..God help me 1 Like |

SmallerB: LOL IT FEELS LIKE A MIRACLE LOL Second application submitted online June 20 Medical request July 5(funny thing is my first application was refused after 15days also) Medicals done July 18 Medicals passed August 2( i had to call Qlife cause it was passed the 10 working days. They told me they had sent it, thats when the true worry started ehn i started questioning my health since i had a surgery in june lol. So i sent a web form on august 1st and the next day i got medicals passed) BVl August 2nd also Application was processed in Paris Passport request August 5 lol
I submitted all cic forms Admission letter: university of Saskatchewan going for PGD food science, i have an undergraduate degree in microbiology and 4.78cgpa i couldn't get a supervisor sadly. But i spoke to the program coordinator and he said if i have good grades and get a supervisor after the first semester i could switch to Msc so i am hoping(crossed fingers)i graduated uni at 19 so i mentioned how young and all i still am so a career switch blah blah lol i am surprised. I made mention of the courses i did as an undegrad that are related to food science(like food microbiology, organic chem, bio chem and industrial micro) i also mentioned that my undergraduate course was slightly deficient so i couldn't get into masters which is true in a way. My mum is my main sponsor, statement of account of 9m and 7m TB said to be dedicated to my studies Submitted my dad's will with funds and land property dedicated to i and my siblings. It also had court order. Submitted my transcript and thats all. And above all i added my God to the equation lol.
My first application was refused based on ties to Canada and purpose of visit. I ordered GMCS note and it didnt mention anything about my study plan being vague or anything. VO's main point is that i wont return to Nigeria. I was really sad when the refusal came, i cried sef then ran to niaraland and read all the responses lol. My first application had all the documents i believe it was even perfect but yet it was refused. My second application i didn't even notorise sponsors letter or anything, didn't even submit birth certificate or any extra thing. Its only God that's all. I'm so thankful for everyone that posts here i have always been silent but I'm grateful to everyone here Congratulations, Greatest Saskatoonite! 1 Like |

BaaleOfOntario: Good day everyone. my study permit was refused on June 26th based on 3 reasons P of visit, family ties and personal asset and financial status. I ordered for gcms immediately and came about 30 days time and i think it is generic. says my study plan is vague and poorly documented, that I won't leave Canada after completing my studies.
I'm 22 yrs of age. completed Nysc April 2019. profile is Bsc mass communication going for broadcast journalism PGC. Sponsor is father retired Manager with12.8m naira when I submitted but has reduced drastically to abt 10m. Now my Uncle, Father's biological brother (Same Surname) whom is a PR and his wife in Canada both want to write me a letter and act as Co sponsor in my 2nd application which I intend to submit In October they've been living in Canada for over 15 yrs.
Note : I didn't declare my uncle and his wife in my first application as advised by my Uncle as he felt my ties to Nigeria will be very weak.
docs submitted are.
1. father's employment and retirement. 4 documents. 2 fathers Data page and travel history. 3. My Industrial training docs. 2 of them. 4. Father's landed properties. a. his house plan, b.fifteen plots of land. c. He owns a agri business (poultry and piggery) but not registered with CAC which we truthfully said. so he did an affidavit of business ownership. 5. birth cert of me and only one sibling not from NPC though. just certificate of birth registration from local govt. 6. Waec, bsc certificate. Seems I've submitted so much docs.
Now I've written a banging SOP and LOE to the concerned refusal reasons.
I need advice from gurus . Frank.R, austacus, qudkom and other gurus.
Ideally you didn't have any issues with your financial portfolio. Also having additional sponsors isn't an issue. However in reference to your gcms note if you can ensure that your proposed program correlates and you review your sop and make sure it isn't cage and straight to the point then you should be fine. Also, Don't complicate the previous sponsor portfolio, If you're going to add any make sure they're showing commitments* |

Study plan seems to be poorly planned(Course) also your sop was deemed vague and poor. You also didn't submit convincing documents to show your establishment in the country. The full details of your application will have to be revealed to give proper guidance. |
