The attachment is for those interested in analysts calculated fair price for some stocks. The fair prices are an average from about 7 asset management houses.

In some cases the deviations from the mean vary so widely that it will be risky putting any reliance on the average. In other words this is for information purposes only and to keep the discussion on current market versus fair prices going. The FA guys will like this.

i doubt cos d major driver of the Nigerian Economy (oil) is already feeling d brunt as it is set to breach the $60 mark

Yesterday, the world's wealthiest 500 people already lost $117bn - about 2.1% of their collective networth.
We all know those are paper losses though.

But anything can happen to oil in a split second.
Such is the fickleness of the market.
Just erring on the side of caution.

STOCK MARKET GUIDE FOR 6 AUGUST 2019

MSCI still quiet.

Market is still down. This is a period of cautious optimism. We cannot be too aggressive in the market. The market is mirroring what is happening in Nigeria (slow course of action).

Caution: This is for information purpose only. Data used are assumed to be correct. However, you may want to verify the data from an appropriate source. Also, Institutions can afford to suffer big losses without going burst compared with an individual, you cannot follow them blindly (you need to at least have some knowledge/your own plan). Sorry Bro..I didn't save the dataset as per asset manager. I just picked the figure and updated my fair price column as per companies under observation.

Some of original research reports have been updated here in the past and if you are interested in that I could upload some of them.

Lol...don't always go with the analysts. Incidentally those two companies are the ones with the least deviations from average.

Fidelity: N1.76 - N2.80
FCMB: N1.45 - N2.15

That means you entered at a price close to N20 shey. Its better you wait till the end then.
Start processing your e-dividend now if you haven't done so.

I notified us when I sold off my stake in DANGOTE FLOUR some weeks ago.(refer to the post above)
While I do not hold the stock anymore, I still believe that the present mkt price is still @ an appreciable discount to what can likely be the eventual buy out price.
That said, a decision on whether to sell or hold will depend on ur LEVEL OF LIQUIDITY, PERSONALITY and INVESTMENT GOAL.
With due consideration of all 3 factors, u can HOLD.
However if u decide to tour that path(which is cool), begin now to process ur e-dividend mandate with EDC registrars, so ur fund wouldn't turn out to be a tied down 'bond' with them.
As a guide;

1) Ensure they(edc) have a specimen signature of ur brokerage A/C captured on their database with emphasis on DF as a security u hold.
To achieve this; follow up with ur broker to fill a transfer form clearly indicating DF and get them to send it to CSCS for verification, warehousing(via ur chn) and signatory. Thereafter, request for the duly stamped and signed acknowledgment copy of ur transfer form from ur broker.

2) Submit ur clearly filled e-dividend mandate form thru ur bank and get them to upload it on the NIBBS platform. ...u must follow up to ensure they do that. Among the banks that are more readily accessible in this regard are GTB, ZENITH, FCMB, STANBIC and STERLING. ...so u can use any of them to get things done faster.
But before the bank uploads ur e-dividend mandate, request(mildly) for an acknowledgment copy after due stamping and signatory by them. U can ask that they make a print out for u right there or u take it out, quickly print it urself and return it to them.

3) Scan the acknowledgement copies of ur e-dividend mandate form(duly stamped & signed by ur bank) and that of ur transfer form(also signed & stamped by cscs) to the official e-mail of EDC and copy the official enquiry/feedback mail ad of ur bank and that of nibbs.
On a side note, also ensure that the target bank A/C u indicated that ur funds be remitted to is ACTIVE with at least N500 as ledger balance beforehand. This is very important... so ur form won't get rejected by nibbs on the way to final processing.

EDC registrars will sure have NO choice whatsoever, but to pay u ur dues in no time !!

NOTE: If a special form is designed for the buyout cash consideration(as was the case with the access/diamond deal), just follow the same steps above. ...only that u will also need to add the said special form with steps 2 and 3.

Regards.

Ur right my dear. ...yes its best to wait it out.
This was what I advised all those who consulted me.
The 20% premium on current price is no small value.
It's a great return. ...especially when u consider the present state of the market.
So it would be better to wait it out.
Just ensure u follow thru with the post above. ...and the time to do so is NOW !!

Congratulations to all who made juicy returns in DF !!

Cheers.
