great seeing these photos of factories springing up.I thought this whole 1 district 1 factory agenda was in dormant and it's sad the media hardly reports on such progress and I hope the necessary funds and resources are provided for the smooth operations of these factories.Building over 200 factories in a spate of 4 to 8 years is not a joke initiative. I hope it's a Public-Private Projects initiative.

When it comes to public awareness, i realised the Npp goverment is very poor unlike NDC goverment who will by now turn GBC to official political platform. and i also realised the media house are more interested in the political tension rather than helping the Goverment to fulfilled her agenda. in a nut shell, there is little publication about the country progress but more on her negativity. As I am typing, over 51 factory are under construction excluding the numerous project going on in the country like road, port expansion ( both tema and Takoradi) new inland port project and the president has cut sod of many project ( housing and mordern terminal especially) the agenda of one district one factory is to have functional industry within the 216 district so that Accra and tema will be relax of continuous migration. it is estimated to employ over 1 million youth and about 3 million people indirectly when finalised..

As at now the ""government has released GH¢465 million(220 million dollar) for the commencement of the one-district-one-factory project. It has also released GH¢256 million ( 95 million dollar) for the revamping of 100 private commercially viable and distressed companies throughout the country"".


the whole 1 district 1 factory is both private and Goverment initiative. The private donate and the Goverment support it with incentives
